Wrap opinions needed...

I've got this new cue I'm getting and I'm starting to have second thoughts about my original idea of a white w/black speck wrap. Was thinking maybe white w/brown or maybe brown lizard or something. I'm having a hard time picturing what kind of wrap would go well with this design. Any ideas are much appreciated. Thanks.

I like solid black, like a quality smooth black leather. It should set off the birdseye points and tie in the ebony in the butt. I think the white with black speck linen will be a little bland against the birdseye points.

Stacked Black Leather.

That's what I have and I love it. It feels the best to me of all wraps. I've had mine for about 3 years.

For someone who's only considring appearance, the finish gets worn down and dull in spots - which is fine with me. But I do take it in once a year, they re-seal it, and it's still like new. The stuff seems impossible to wear out.

Then go for no wrap. An unwrapped cue usually is easier to grip than a linen-wrapped cue, especially when it's dry. No wrap will generally cost more though.

I don't think I've seen a stacked leather wrap, any pics or links?

I do like the look of a wrapless but I think with this design, a wrap would be more fitting (just don't know which one :) )

Thanks for the replies.

Try the white/black linen and if you don't like it change it.

Max Eberle's cue is similar to yours. He's got BEM spliced into purple heart. The wrap is black leather, and it looks great.

Here's a YouTube video he posted recently. You can get a few good shots of the cue: http://youtube.com/watch?v=KkhubElnTPY
