Hey Greg, I have one for sale:

It's a nice wrapless vintage billiard cue by HOF maker Bert Schrager.

This cue has been played but never re-finished and has the silky satin oil finish you find on older cues and a few minor nicks on the butt sleeve but nothing major.

I am the third owner and was told that the joint is old Micarta. It has the 3/8x10 pin. The butt has a slight lift at the joint which causes the tip to wobble by slightly more than the thickness of a credit card but the shaft is straight so play is not affected.

The cue weighs approx. 18 oz and is 54" in length. It is typical of the old Schrager cues with great-looking BEM maple forearm and buttsleeve, and a rosewood handle. It has a very good feel and hit. I use it for pool and billiards.

Ok guys I just got back and let me tell you what fog flooding and snow turned my trip home into a very large trek. anyways here is the scoop. Dave Jacoby under trust from the Schuler Family will be building the Schuler Cues very soon. The employees at Jacoby are being trained as we speak in the proper methods of building a Schuler Cue. This is great for all of us as we will get a little more variety out of Schuler but with a lot better finish than we are used to. Not sure as of yet when the merger will be at 100% but I can tell you to expect great things. We are all very excited about this.
Now I too am excited. I'm looking forward to these new Schulers.
