Was curious if anyone has a few of these to spare? Looking for six (6) of these....aluminum, ~2-2.5" length, 3/8-16, drilled and tapped for bumper screw. Send me a message and let me know what you've got and price.

Thanks !!

If I may ask, Why do you want an aluminum weight bolt. Why not steel or brass?

If the cue is already to the desired wght. you still need something to screw the bumper to.

Sean,

Try Ace Hardware.

Been there and done that. I don't think you will find them at any hardware store. If you do, please let me know.

I have tried to buy these aluminum flat head screws in a 3/8-16 thread. I have been to most fastener companies and no luck. The size stops at 1/4-20 and no larger. No one that I found makes them as a standard piece of hardware. I talked to the man that runs Connecticut Cue Parts and he said "that's why we make them." All of their threaded screws have a rolled thread not a cut thread.

Exactly, Kim. No luck at any local hardware stores.

Scroll down to page 16.

Don't know the minimum, and they aren't drilled and tapped for the bumper screw.

As far as I can find, CT cue parts is the best/cheapest place to buy the slotted ones, unless you need a whole lot of them. But they only make one length.

Great information.... you would need to drill and tap each one for the #10 screw to hold on the bumper. They say that you must buy a box of 100. I bet they are not cheap.

CT cue parts has them for $2.50 each, drilled - tapped - and with the #10 screw......... I think that's a great deal. I think their min order is $45. I use them and they work great and weigh about 1/4 oz.

light flathead screws

I have used nylon flat head 3/8-16 screws to anchor bumpers to when weight saving was critical. They are available in hardware stores as toilet seat hardware. Very light.
