WTB a nice good hitting cue (do not care about condition) Can only afford up to $100

I am looking for a nice (good hitting cue), and I do not really care how beat up it is, or weight, or mm size.

I just want something that is nice, and of good quality (do not want any cheap Asian imports, and no offence to the Asian cue companies that make good quality cues).

Would really like a nice Helmstetter, or maybe a Joss (or something else in the same league of quality).

Or, maybe a nice custom sneaky pete.

I do not have much money, and can only afford to spend up to a $100 at this time.

If you have something that you would be willing to offer me for under $100 shipped, then please PM me what you have (or you can just put a reply below if you would like any other interested buyers to also see what you have).

I hope to see some replies soon.

I just regrettably sold my Helmstetter (and am without a cue now), and would like to find something as soon as possible.

Thanks

a used lucasi is your best bet. they're asian made but they hit the ball really well imo. could be stiffer but for the cash you can't beat 'em

When I was in the "need a cue on the cheap" situation I bought a no name sneaky for $40 on ebay...spent the $20 to have a Mori put on it and it was a great hitting cue for the money...plus once you get back into a nice cue you can use the sneaky as a back up or throw a hard tip on it and ya have a breaker....

Check out this McDermott Cue at ShopGodwill. They don't even know it's a McDermott.
Sign up for an auction account and maybe you can steal it for less than a $100.00

you can get a real McDermott from Ebay for around 100, older hublers can be had for around there too. I've always been a fan of the D series cues and some of the other McDs from the 90s. You can usually sell them for the same 100 bucks later.
J and J cues usually has some good sales on cheap cues with upgraded shafts

Dude, you can buy a brand spanking new Schmelke Cue (made in Wisconsin by a great family)...

You can get a Rosewood Sneaky Pete for $99 or for $105 you can get a Bacote Sneaky Pete at Billiards Warehouse...

How are you gonna go wrong with a brand new full splice cue with exotic woods for only a Hundo ?

Take a look at billiards warehouse and see it for yourself..... don't but some beat up cue when you can have brand new for the same price :)

Bump for more offers. Still looking for something nice for around a $100. I really do not want a Lucasi, or an Asian made mcdermott. Would really like to find a Helmstetter, or maybe a nice custom sneaky pete. I do not care about the condition. Just want something that is fairly straight. Thanks.

You keep saying you don't want an Asian made cue, but Helmsteter cues have been made in Japan for decades.
