WTB - Black Boar Ferrule-less shaft

Picked up a Black Boar cue and after a couple of days of playing it, I now have my daily player. I would like to try the Black Boar ferrule-less shaft with it, so if you have one you would sell, please PM me.

Let me know specs, condition and price to include paypal fee and USPS express (don't like cue or shafts sitting very long in transit) shipping to Hawaii (Zip = 96706).

To be honest Tonys ferrule-less shafts hardly are ever up for sale.You might wait a long time. I know u wanna try one but your gonna love it and that cue will play 10x better with one. I have had many trust me I know. When they are they are perfect and still what he charges. I would suggest calling Tony sending the cue to him and having the shaft made and cue gone over so to speak.

thanks for the response. I will wait a couple of days, just incase one might come up for sale and then will contact Tony.

Ok just looking out... Although same maker same cues same pin size it great for him to have cue

Every cue that was 5/16x14 I put a ferrule-less black boar shaft on comes alive and plays better than ever. Alot of people can't justify the $ but in my eyes everything top of the chart is expensive Ya get what ya pay for and it's a no brainer. Tony and Donnie are @ the top imo

I have read alot about these ferrule less shaft's and I am pretty sure I will get one some day, just wondering about how much does he charge to make one, I would ship my cue to him to have it fitted perfectly.

Tonys are the best but you'll have to have a black boar to have one made he don't make shafts for other makers cues

Prices I can't quote you have to call tony check his web page out
But to give ya an idea in the 4-500 range min
 
BB new shaft

While Tony didn't make new shafts for a while he may at this time. He has been thinking about doing a few and limited amount at this time for his older cues. The shaft will be very expensive. He makes his own pin so it will only fit his cues I believe. This can change on a daily basis.

I think Tony charges $600.00 for a ferruless shaft. I still have the one 9BallKing sold me. If i sold it. I would want $575.00 shipped. Never hit a ball with it since i bought it from Steve. I sent it to Dennis Searing. He was curious to try it. He said it played good but was different. I have it now. $575. shipped in USA 301-351-5178.

This is the 2nd time I've seen Randy post that he is looking for a shaft, and both times he was warned that it would never happen. This would be twice that it did happen. AZ is a wondrous place.

This shaft was lightly played black collar with silver ring made for older 4pt bb I had

Nick he is up and running smooth ;)
He does make his own pin but it's 5/16x14 just like everything else and the shaft will fit anything else( why I was using it on mikes cue) The thing is actually reverse, it's getting stuff to fit his cues like jps. Tonys tolerances are so tight atlas insert need to be fine tuned by taking some off to fit snuff on the butt but I haven't encountered any other issues at all. You obviously wouldn't want another cue makers shaft for his cue ;)

You'll like Randy. Boy Tony gets a lot for his shafts!. Searing must have had the parabolic taper micrometer out on that shaft.

Anyone who wants a Black Boar ferruless shaft directly from Tony #301-277-3236 he charges $450.00 for them. I called Randy after talking to Tony and adjusted the price accordingly. Randy is a good guy and deserves to be treated as such. We now have a good deal working.

Read a lot of negatives about buyers and sellers, but "country" Bob is a class act. I may have been really lucky, but all the sellers I have dealt with have been great.
