I just visited Tony at the beginning of February to discuss a new build. There’s isn’t anything he’ll put together for $6k because he’s done with (and has been for a while) simple designs. $10 to $12k would get a buyer the kind of cue Tony’s working on at this point in the arc of his career, and if you want something that isn’t part of his current repertoire, the price will be astronomical. If you reach out to Tony 6k will get you a brand new one.

What he may have been referring to is the replacement value of the cue, which is stated on COAs typically for informational and/or insurance purposes.Ok, I visited him last year and must have misunderstood. I thought he said a Merry Widow was 6K (I was thinking about squirreling away one). Anyway Boar's are nice, but no cue is worth anywhere near that to me.
I like the parabolic grip, but that technology does not help if you are not playing off the back of the cue. His low deflection shafts are nice, but not revolutionary.
Plus not to be a downer, but when Tony retires who would service that investment. I don't blame these cue makers for getting what the market will pay, but 10K...
Still looking for a nice BB? I’m selling mine. $4kLooking for a good condition Black Boar and it doesn't need to be pristine because I will most likely get it refinished from them.
