WTB a small box of Master's Chalk and 2 right hand billiard gloves, but don't want to mess around with putting in all my info on a commercial site.

Someone hook me up...

Russ

Hmmm.. Mebbe I didn't specify... I would like someone on here who deals in such things to ship me one small box of Master's chalk...And two billiards gloves. The Iraq address ships as if to an American address. It is an Army base.

I am giving the chalk to the soldiers for their pool table here. I know someone on here sells this in their business normally...

But I understand, if it's too much trouble for a few dollars profit..

Russ

Russ... You have a APO for shipping?

let me know.. you pay the shipping, i will pay for the chalk..

and send you about 20 pieces i have here...

anything to help out a member of our armed forces..

sorry.. i cant help you with the gloves..

You guys remind me of a story I heard. A soldier snatched the 8 ball off the table at the Royal Palace when they raided it. He supposely brought it home with him.

If you havn't hooked up on the gloves yet let me know. I just got some extra Sir Josephs. I guess I could put them in an envelope.

I've got at least one glove. Maybe 2 if I can find the other one when I get home from work. I've got some chalk I can send along too. Just pay the shipping and they are yours when I can find them. Send me a PM with your shipping info.

Yer not gonna believe this, but I don't really know. I am at the Embassy in the IZ, and I see all sorts of MWR posters about stuff happening at "Liberty pool", and there is a big pool out in back of the Embassy, so i always assumed it was Liberty Pool and that we were part of Camp Liberty.

Then, asking around, I found that a lot of people are new here, and are not sure if we are part of Liberty or not.

All I know, is they have two of the crappiest tables I have ever seen here by the pool. The tables are outside, under an overhang. There are 4 inch + rips on both tables, and the cloth is loose. No chalk, but the tables still seem to roll fairly straight.

I was actually able to play halfway decently on them, running 4 or 5 balls. The pockets are mishapen though, so I'd have to pratice on these tables as well as get a good break to play well on them.

The condition the tables are in does give me fond memories of when I was a soldier, though. Dirty balls, loose cloth. Dead rails.

And I'll still run out a lot when I get used to the table.

It sounds like your at the embassey in the green zone. I heard alot about it. In fact I was offered a job there when I get out, they told me they pay great. As for everyone sending you stuff, I'm still in the army here and I had to pay and bring everything I have here, I wish someone would send me some free stuff, just kidding I got alot of great deals from great people on this site and wish I could thank everyone. This site is great if I could say one thing about az members is we take care of eachother.
