Is there anyone or anywhere that would like to meet up while I am in Denver next Thursday through the following Thursday? I live WAY down in Florida (Ft Myers) and do not get out west very often but may be moving to Denver in the next few years or sooner...

I want to look at some moderately priced cues (under $1K) while I am there and I will ship them back myself. I will have probably about 3 different days or evenings to go check some cues, pool rooms, and hopefully some smaller tournaments as well.

I would really like to meet a few cuemakers from that area if anyone has any suggestions PLEASE...

Anyhow, please call, text or email me like usual...

Send over a PM to " cuesblues " Great guy with a hella collection. I'm sure he'll be able to help ya out. I believe he's still in the Denver area.

Bill,
Well, I'd be happy to show you a couple of my cues - definitely under the $1k mark.
Others, well of course Ernie Martinez lives here and there's AE cues, among others.
As for pool halls, we have quite a few. On the south end of town, there's Felt in Englewood at Floyd and Acoma - 9foot Diamonds, 9foot GC's, and some of the best maintained Valley bar boxes you've ever seen. Money tournaments on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights (on the bar boxes) and on Sunday afternoons on the 9-footers
In the same part of town is Greenfield's who recently replaced all their Dynamo bar boxes with nearly new Diamond bar boxes.
Rack'Em in Aurora (Havana and Jewel) is under new ownership. The 9-footers (older Diamonds I think) have recently been re-felted with Simonis. The Valley bar boxes in front are going to be replaced with Diamond bar boxes "soon" - no ETA.
Farther up north is Mile High Billiards which has 12 Diamond bar boxes and 4 9 foot Diamond Pro-Ams.
That's the short list.
Hope you enjoy your visit to Denver.
Gary

Thanks all for the great information!

I'll be out there 3/13 - 3/20 if anyone wants to shoot a bit or buy/trade/sell cues!

I'm not a high end buyer, but I typically like to have 10-20 $250-$600 retail priced cues at any given time so who knows...

Play Well!

If you can stay a couple more days there will be two big tourneys at the same time at the same place (Felt) the weekend of the 21-23: https://www.str8-shots.com/events/category/str8-shots-events/

Cues for sale in Denver

Hello Bill,

I am actually in Fort Lauderdale until next Wednesday, but I will PM you my number and if you give me a call later next week or PM me,I would be happy to hook up at Felt and show you some cues. I have quite a few in your price range, and at really good prices.

Other cuemakers in Colorado......Dave Kikel, Definitely see Ernie Martinez, as mentioned before Chris and the guys at AE. Judd also lives in Colorado but he is way out in a remote area, but if you find yourself anywhere near the Southwest corner of the state you owe it to yourself to go see him also. Another person I would recommend you try to see is Phil Eastwood, he is located just a few minutes from Felt and makes some of the nicest, most unique cue cases you will ever see.

Hope to speak to you soon,

Greg
