WTB: Fold up pool table

Hello all,

Is anyone aware of a fold up pool table that can be purchased? Since I intend to use this table only for practice drills, I could even mount something on the way and pull it down like a fold out bed. Obviously, there'd be no need for a ball return system. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

I think Wal-Mart sells a table, maybe Sears that would be just right. It's about 2ft x 4ft, don't have to fold it up to get it out of the way, just stand it in the corner when you're not practicing:D

I've got one of those. My 3 year old lost interest in it. I might be willing to sell it.

I also have one of these, but it is very difficult to set up and get level. The longs shots are a killer. :D

A couple years ago when I worked on the sales floor of a pool table/spa store, I had a guy looking for one. He told me that's the best thing to practice on because it really forces you to control your stroke. Makes you a much better player than playing on those big tables where you can miss by a mile and still make the balls. ;)

I'm not looking for a toy :) From what I've seen on the Internet, it seems like there are a few products sold in the UK but nothing in the US. Bumping to hear more ideas......

I have actually seen this kind of table listed from time to time on Craigslist. 7 foot with fold up legs that you can store away. You might look there.

Honestly, anything non-slate is going to be kind of a toy. If you are a serious player looking for something serious to practice/learn on, you should look for a slate table. You can't maintain the level of a non-slate table. Some of them you can't even recover. They are basically a throw away table.

Honestly, if you want to practice and don't have the room for a table in your home, we room owners aer struggling! Visit and support your local pool hall.

OK but that's not the point of this thread. I'm looking for a product and am interested in hearing about anything the community knows about.

Ok, sorry to get off topic... I Googled it for you and you can find the table Madhaterm3 pictured above at Amazon.com for between $119 and $159. It's the 4-footer. You can also find a 6' fold-up snooker table at Amazon.co.uk for about 150-200 pounds (not dollars).

If you want an opinion on the quality of either of these tables...

Scroll up. :D

Hope this is more the info you're looking for.
