I have one in brown, 18" like new (maybe just a few surface scratches from storage is all.
can send pics to email if anyone is interested.
to the op, I know you got mad when we pm'd because I checked with 2 other az members who recently sold theirs in order to get an idea what these are going for so I could price mine.
You said these sold for $25 new, I think that's not accurate.
Pretty sure this one cost me $40 - $45 incl shipping, IIRC.
I know this isn't a bushka or szam by a moon shot but the same market principal applies. supply vs demand
those cues once sold in the hundreds - they went up.
After learning what the two other guys sold theirs for, I thought I was being pretty reasonable.

I am not sure how you were able to ascertain that I was mad. I am willing to pay a premium for one, just not three times the original cost. It may be worth that to someone, but not to me. Anyways, I was content letting my thread die so please stop posting on it and respond via if for some reason you want to continue this discussion.

The honest truth is the price of pre owned Hager Extension is higher than they WERE NEW, but JW Hager is no more, and I honestly do not know if they will ever be again.
As I have e-mailed John Hager a couple of time, and the reply has always been something like they are “close” to starting up again.
But they “THE HAGER COMPANY” has not started up, and I have a 16” that is NSF, because if I sell it, I can not replace it for what I paid originally.
Maybe some enterprising person needs to make a deal with John Hager, and buy the rights to his extension, and start making em again.
Until that day if you want a Hager Extension, it is a sellers market. JMHO.

A seller can ask whatever the market will bear.It is also against forum rules to bash someones sale thread.If you don't like the price,simply move on.This is a little different,cause these Hagers are getting very hard to find.It may be worth a small fortune to someone.I think (JMHO) that $70.00 is a fair price.I paid double that,but I got the whole 1X2 case with it
