That's about it!! So, there you go. You can replace your ferrule with whatever you prefer. Interstate sales of real ivory is prohibited I believe.

Many of the early Meucci's had heavily grained juma or plastic which appeared to be ivory-like. Some did have ivory, but they were made is less quantities - some of the Jim Rempe limited models. Below are some older threads on that topic.
