WTB: My first cue!

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I have recently over the past couple months gotten addicted to pool....So now I am looking to get my first real cue. My budget is around $200. I figured I would get the most bang for my buck here as opposed to a billiards store, ebay or craigslist. Let me know if any of you have something nice that you would be willing to let go of. I am in SoCal so if any of you are local that would be a plus. Thanks for looking!

Cheers,

Michael

I also offer a money back guarantee on all my cues. If you don't like the cue, return it in original condition and I'll refund your purchase price (minus shipping cost).

I also have this

Ok this is my current playing cue that I bought to have so I can send my Carmeli out for refinishing and extras. as well as the wait of my Carolina. I'm expecting both cues to be finished anytime now so I need to make room in the case.

THis is a McDermott Star series cue. has the star logo not clover.
Specs are:
3/8x10 pin with white Phenelic collar(Cream color).
Wieght is 19oz
Tip 12.61mm
balance is 19 inches from butt end(notBumper)
Irish linen Wrap
Joint Protectors included

Forearm stained Maple, it has 5 Phenelic floating points
Buttsleeve is the same as forearm.
Same material in the Rings above and below the wrap.
THis cue plays Jam up. If this don't sell I'm going to keep it as a back up so I have one if I need to send my others out for maintaince or whatever.

I have gotten a lot of compliments on this cue.
I'm asking $120 shipped

Again any questions feel free to email or call.

Pechauer............

If you can pony up an additional $70.00, Joerackem over at e-bay has a Pechauer sneaky pete available, with a 2 butt, 2 shaft cue case, and FREE SHIPPING for $270.00. I have bought many things from Joe's billiard store, and he is as good as gold IMO. For a starter cue, with a case, for that price, you simply cannot go wrong with a Pechauer cue! I believe they carry a lifetime warranty, and they are made right here in the good ole U.S.A. I played with a Pechauer sneaky many moons ago, and it hit very nicely! If you're interested, here is the ebay item number: 310160075448, I believe you can search the item out by item #. Welcome to AZB, and best of luck.

I've got a nice, new-condition cue case for your new cue when you buy it. See it here: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=162974 It's priced right!!!

go to ebay and buy a Dale Perry for $150! They are well worth the money and great starter cue.

just a little suggestion. Spend most of your money on a good low deflection shaft: ob cue, mezz, predator, lucasi they all make low deflection shafts.

Then get any butt cue that you can afford.

The shaft is 75% of the pool cues performance.

If you can save up another $100 this will help you greatly in your selection.
