My good friend had his case containing his Lucasi cue stolen at league last night.

I would like to find him a good quality production cue to replace the stolen one.

Doesn't have to be perfect, price is key, hoping for under $200.

It must be straight, however.

I want to limit the choices to the brands listed in the title.

Please let me know what's avail.

I hate thieves!

TIA

best,

Brian I don't want to be the smartass here but if I were you I'll go for a Fury HL series, radial pin. It's a very very nice cue for the money. Strong hit and pretty nice balance. I am using one right now.
Just a thought...
Chris

PS: I had my cues stolen once I know the feeling...sorry to hear that.

Sean;

I am bowled over with your kind offer but am happy to report that I'm all set now. Thank you very much, though. It's guys like you who remind us all that the good guys way outnumber the bad ones.

One of AZ's absolute best, Mr. Bob Farr, with whom I've had the pleasure of doing biz a number of times, offered to send a very nice fury cue in a case for FREE to help out my friend, Joe.

While I couldn't quite let him do that, suffice to say, an incredible deal was done.

Thank you Bob! :)

Brian,

Kind of wants to make you forget all those hateful posts some folks make on AZ. There are still lots of great people out there. They're just not as vocal.

Lets plan to get together again at SBE. Maybe Sean will join us.

Fury

I am glad you decide to go with Fury sir. I am not endorsing them, I just gave you my honest opinion...Your friend will be pleased I know that.

Nice to have some good people around you sometime. Green for you Mr. Bob Farr.

Update . . .

I want to let fellow az'ers know that despite our seeing far too many posts where deals have gone sideways, along with various other negative dealings, it's heartening to know that there still are quite a few exceptional people on here.

Case in point; this thread, and one man in particular.

My friend, Joe, had his cue and case stolen and so I set out to find him a replacement cue, hence the reason for this thread. Soon after posting about this, I was pm'd by Bob Farr, with whom I've had a few previous flawless cue transactions.

He wanted to donate a fury cue he had and while I was very appreciative, I couldn't let him do that so I paypaled him some money.

Bob wasn't having any of that - he refunded my money and sent the cue. And, oh yeah, the cue, which looked real close to new, arrived in a new case. And the cue had joint protectors.

I must have already thanked Bob 14 times for his incredible kindness and generosity, but I thought a 15th time, this one in plain sight, is the least I could do.

Thank you very much, Bob! You, Sir, are a class act!

p.s. the sign in Joe's hand says "Thank You, Bob!" but the camera flash washed it out. To say Joe was happy about this would be a mega-understatement.
