well lets try this again Im a college student currently in C-league and i am prospected to move up to B. And anyone who played in college may know the difference. I have been playing for a few months now, less then 6, i spent 70 on a Bunjee j/b and 80 on a players G2222 and am looking to buy a new playing cue
has to be useable i have a budget of 120 and i may be able to budge a bit not very much though

let me know what you have

Hi I see you have all red rep. now . For $120. , can you let us know what you expect to get ????? Jim

how did i get red reputation? ...

and i would like to get a new cue like a step up from where i am now

There are those who like to trounce on the newbies by red repping them I guess? But you can now see that someone took care of the red rep for you for now.

IMO and the overall opinion in here is going to be that $120 will not get you much of a step up, if any, for a cue. You might get lucky though, just be patient.

If I had seen this post a week ago I would have had just the thing for you but I helped out a guy who I played some leagues with and all but gave away a nice cue to him that I had sitting around.

Again, just be patient. There are more than a few good sumaritan's in/around here that might help you out. Good luck

i diont really know anything about fury cues

and well i have been im selling an ipod i have to try and get a bit more money so i think i might be up to 200 in a few weeks

If you can wait a little I will help you out with a new wrappless McDermott. The cue is red stain maple with dash rings at the butt sleeve above and below. The butt sleeve is like natural paduke. $120 plus shipping. I am waiting on the cue I'm getting it on trade.

I believe I noticed a thread from Prulhiere cues here. I've heard the cues hit nicely and they are priced in your range. A new plain jane custom built is around $170 I believe.

There are also the Dale Perry cues on ebay you can easily buy for less than $150. While they may not be as nice as the older cues he built they are likely an upgrade to what you currently have.

just a few thoughts , gluck to you

well originally on my last post i was suppose to be buying a dale perry for 100 and then the guy selling it to me just kinda changed his mind when i told him i had the payment ?

Considering the last few Dale Perry cues I have seen, you probably got lucky.
I saw one just a few days ago that was just horrible. inlays floating in glue, off center joint pin that looked like a camshaft when i rolled it.
I wouldn't buy one sight unseen!

I have a Pechauer JP02-L that has seen very little play that I am selling for $150 + shipping. It's a great cue that sells for $240 new. If you are unfamiliar with Pechauers, do a search on azbilliards - you will read many good reviews on them. That's how I discovered them - I have another Pechauer that I am keeping.

EDIT- I just noticed the reply above is talking about this cue.
