I have a dark brown color nylon wrap I would be willing to sell. It's a 1 lb spool enough for 30 cues. 20$ shipped.

Wow. After receiving much help and either free or next to free supplies from other members, all I can think is, way to try and hose over another AZ member thats in need Buddy.

You just never quit do you.

Schmelke has nylon wraps for $8 for a one lb spool in the Close Out section.

They do have some dark brown but it may be mixed with tan. Just because they don't have it advertised, doesn't mean they don't have it in stock.

Give em a call and ask. I'd be willing to bet that they have solid brown.

I got the black and dark brown in nylon from them.

I see that you said shaft insert. Do you mean a joint collar?

Are you needing to replace the wrap on the butt or the collar on the shaft - you have received answers to both, but you haven't said which.

I think he is saying he needs a new insert for the shaft.... Perhaps his is stripped?

I need to replace the insert on the shaft. My mind thinks and understands differently than what my fingers type.

Use linen phenolic, the same material used for jump break ferrules. It doesn't cross thread like Nylon and it also will give you a better connection. Not to mention it also will wear much better over time than the nylon does.

Either way good luck
