Hello,
There was a SP for sale a while back, that had a orange-y brown phenolic joint & butt cap and I was looking to find enough to do the same to my SP.
It had a linen look to it, which isn't that important, but I am o.k. with that look too.

Does anyone have any?
Do you know where I can get any?

I think you are looking for natural linen phenolic tubing you can get it from Atlas billiard supply, look in joint materials, you can buy some of it pre cut in small quanities ,I also think several of the guys on here will probly have it, I think one of them is cuebux or something along that line.Good luck in your search.

Yeah.....I wrote PM, but if someone has it, they can just post something also.
I know a lot of folks buy this stuff in large quantities, so I figured someone may have some already cut for a butt cap and joint size that they would be willing to let go for $x.00.
I will check Atlas though.

Hello Eric, you and everybody else is looking for the Old Orange / Red Brown Phenolic, unfortunately they have made that material for many years, and what is still out there is either in the hands of cue makers (not for Sale) or waiting to be discovered.

The current material is called Natural colored Phenolic, and it is more of a Tan, however, it can be dyed. There is also is a Mahogany Brown both of which are sold by Atlas which is part of Mueller recreational products. I have tried dying the Tan Natural Phenolic with mixed results.

I have an EXACT idea of what I'm looking for.

If you search for JOE CALLALUCA, on the 2nd page of results is a SP that was in the FOR SALE section a little while back.
It has/had black outer rings with a white inner ring. The joint and the butt cap were the orangy-brown color I am looking for.
The reason being, MY sp is about the same color as that one that was for sale.....and I like the way it looked. I have a local guy willing to do the work, but he doesn't have that color butt/joint material.
If I can provide it, he will do the work.
So....the search continues.
Any/All help is appreciated!!!!
 
Impossible we are all looking. The dark stuff we have is not availible for sale. Atleast where I am. There is darker stuff availible that pete Tascarella uses. U got some from r fisher. It gets dark but has more weave look to it.
