I'm looking for a four point Mottey players cue. Preferably ebony points with veneers, however few to no inlays. Two shafts both straight together and apart and 58" long. Also, I'd like a 5/16x14 joint either stainless or ivory. Its pretty much your standard players cue, but I seem to be having a difficult time getting one. Damn Paul and his retirement...

Thanks everyone

Will

Fyi...

You might check Ebay...

There's been one on there for just under 1000.00.

Posting a price range will help your search.

Good luck,

NOT SURE IF THEY ARE UP YOUR ALLEY, BUT I HAVE 2 RARE MOTTEYS LISTED HERE ON AZ. ONE THAT WAS PICTURED IN THE BLUE BOOK, AND THE OTHER IS BELIEVED TO BE THE ONLY 5 POINT THAT IS ROSEWOOD ON ROSEWOOD.

JUST A HEADS UP..... THE SHAFTS ARE NOT TO THAT CUE. I CAN'T TELL FROM THE PICS IF THEY ARE EVEN SHAFTS THAT WERE BUILT BY PAUL.

I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THE CUE OR THE SELLER, I'M JUST SHARING INFORMATION THAT IS NOT IN THE DESCRIPTION ON EBAY.

Great Info...Marcus...

Sorry to the OP...

...I didn't know of the shaft issues...with that one...

Thanks for commenting...!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I saw the one on Ebay as well. As Marcus said, it's a little odd that the collars on the shafts don't match the butt. Yet whoever posted it didn't seem to think it was worth mentioning.

Oh yeah, I saw both that you've posted up here. I've been trying, somewhat successfully, to convince myself that it's worth the fight when my girl finds out how much I spent. That five point rosewood is amazing, rare, and has everything I'm looking for. I just wish I could pull the trigger.

Good luck with your search Will. You wont be disappointed. I absolutely
love mine. I was looking for the exact same thing you were looking for.
It took me a while, but I eventually found it. You'll find yours
too.

See, the real ***** is, I used to spent all my free time learning to play pool at Breakers (Paul's poolhall). I could have picked one up then, but didn't. The pitfall of being a broke college kid. Haha.

I,ve got a four pointer exactly as you described. Been playing with it for the last two years but recently picked up my dream 6 point Black Boar and can't put it down. Veneers on the Mottey are super and look like they are on fire. 58 inch three full shafts and stainless steel joint. Cue had to be refinished before I got it because it's an 86 and has no dings and the wrap is in excellent condition. I traded a Black Boar for it. Got to have 2K. 757-897-8010

THANKS, BILLY HO
