A friend of mine is looking for a cue. Here is what he is looking for.....

No production cues
Plain Jane(no inlays or points)
2 shafts at at least 12.8 mm
irish linen or leather is fine
phenolic joint (no stainless or ivory)
19.5 oz or lower
58 inches
No sneaky petes
Cue must be in U.S.

He would like to stay under $500 or very close. So let me know what you got.
Basically he is looking for cues similiar to Olney, Jensen, Coker ect....

There are a few "Rat" cues around the forum that match your description perfectly. Just bought one myself. Usually in or around the $200 range with one shaft, though you could get Ryan to make a matching shaft and still fall under the $500 ceiling. I've had a couple of RATS and, IMHO, they're wAAAAAAAAAAy good and very underpriced.

well, i have something your friend may or may not be interested in. it is a little more money at $600 and it a wrapless cue. it is a custom cue by az's own joe callaluca of jc cues. it is a great piece of cocobolo with a segmented ebony handle with fancy rings of ebony, cocobolo, and micarta and all 5 positions. it has two shafts with joes special ferrule setup, this cue is a player.

I am a big fan of Joe C's cues. He makes very few of them. I have been playing with the conversion cue he did for me for quite a while. If your friend can swing a few extra bucks to Guy for the Joe C, he won't regret it.

Look for the Purple Heart DZ cue on here. Dukeboy1977 is selling it and Bob makes on hell of a cue. That's why he's doin my BR Hoppe right now!! Anyhow the PH DZ cue is priced rediculously low at 325.00. Check it out.

I have this CAM cue, made by Chad McClennan. Unfortunately, it only has one shaft, but meets all of your other criteria. Leather wrap and matching joint protectors. $350 shipped to N.A.
