WTB Predator or McDermott Cue

New to the sport and want to learn on a good cue from the start.

Looking for something under $150 with a Predator 314-2 or Z2 or McDermott G-Core or I-Core shaft. Thanks!
 
314-2 or Z2 shafts usually go for $150, finding one with a butt might be tough at that price level

thats a good deal for a new player.. I would reccomend this and then figure out what you would like to spend alot of money on later.,,imo
 
How about a new Mcdermott Star X2 cue (msrp $179) plus a used Predator Z2 shaft (3/8X10) in good condition for $190 shipped? I don't know if you can do much better.
 
I don't mind used in really good shape, but I want the butt and shaft to be either McDermott or Predator also. I found a McDermott butt with G-Core shaft for $150 I'm seriously considering, but from what I've read on the forums I thought I'd check on a predator for the same $$

I just paid for a 1st gen Predator shaft for around that, just FYI.

BTW, this isn't too bad. It's only $100 more, but it comes with a 314 shaft too. Looks like it wasn't used either.
 
The guys here are really giving you a good deal. TBH, it's almost impossible to get a pred. for $150 unless it's a really banged up one. Heck, you might not even find a really banged up one for $150.

The Mcdermotts offered here seems real decent. Perhaps you can consider purchasing a butt and topping a pred. shaft to it.
