Hello
I would like to buy a shaft for my BG cue.
The forearm weight is 15,6oz so I prefer the shaft weight is from 3,8oz to 4,0oz.
I dream about a 314² with 3/8x11 joint too
And a question pls, is the BG and SW have the same joint , I mean "exactly"?
Thank you

Yes, I believe both have same joints. You dont have to dream for the 314shaft u can have one made by KJ to match ur joint collars of the BG.

Cheers

I would recommend you getting in touch with KJ Cues, he can build you one from scratch - either when he only has the type of joint you want or either you send him your cue's butt and he'll mate and match the shaft for it, for a perfect fit and match.

I don't think SW and BG uses 'exactly' the same 3/8x11 pins. Richard's pins are self machined and differ slightly (by the size and length of the 'head' before the first thread) from the typical 3/8x11 pin that SW uses.

Cheers.

Very accurate. The shafts will fit on each of the other cues, however, but they may not match in thickness at the joint. You need to get a micrometer and measure the size of your Bluegrass at the collar, to be certain that any prospective shaft will mate up evenly..

Hey Joe, do the shafts really fit one another? I've tried putting my BG shaft on my SW and it didn't work. If I'm not wrong, it didn't work the other way round as well. Or maybe i was just too paranoid and did not turn it in hard enough? :P

I have had both cues and they would fit. Some may be tighter than others due to the pitch of the threads, but I never had any real problems. Main issue for me was that the SW shafts were much thinner at the joint.

Bluegrass shafts

I recommend that You contact Richrd Harris...
He cn get you a shaft, And He will know for sure of any Interchangeability"

According to Richard, his threads are deep threads.

I asked him about a maintenance piece for my shafts and he said to be sure to get a piece that had 3/8x11 deep threads and it would fit fine.

Have never tried a SW on my BG or vise versa.

bump bump

Just a bump bump
Anyone have a RH shaft or Predator with 3/8 x 11 joint.
Thank you.

I sent an e-mail to KJ with everything he need but still no reponse -_-
