WTB Ted Harris cue

I'm looking for low end or high end Ted Harris cue. I've have a few nice cues for trade or I'll buy it outright. If you're liking for brand new cue prices you will need a brand new cue. BTW pics are mandatory. Weight, wood, points or no points doesn't matter.

Butt – 29”, 15.4 ounces
Shaft – 29”, 12.70 mm, 3.7 ounces, non-ivory ferrule, older Moori III medium tip, shows some play (chalk stains)
Shaft – 29”, 12.74 mm, 3.8 ounces, non-ivory ferrule, older Moori III medium tip
Joint – flat face radial pins at both joints

Condition – Very good, about 95%

UGOTDA7, I'm not really looking for a J/B or sneaky. My bad I should have mentioned that in the post. It is a great looking cue though. Ted is my friend and believe me unless someone beats up one of his cues they're perfect. Watching him work is amazing, he could spend hours on a job and if it's only a slight mistake made he will start over. Even if he is the only one that can see the mistake.

I have 4 Ted Harris cues and WON"T let them GO!!!

I would say order one from Ted! I am not sure he is taking cue orders??? Its been awhile since a cue has come out of his shop from what I understand! But, hey what do I know I live in Maryland Teddy's old home town!

Teddy had a FEW personal set backs over the years and the sad part is they hurt him personally and professionally. All in all he is a good guy!

I got one on order and awaiting a call from Teddy to send my final payment to him and its been a long time. I stopped calling him because Teddy works on Teddy time. He makes enough doing repairs that cue building takes a back seat to cue making. the guys got bills to pay and repairs pay triple cue building per hour.

Just my two cents on a great cue and cue builder. I have only seen three come up in 8 years one purple heart plain jane an ebony plain jane and a Rosewood Plain Jane belonging to Leon Sly! He may still have it. It never sold on here in his cue thread. I considered buying these up. But, one guy rubbed me the wrong way when I had cash and when the other two came up i was short and already had 4! When you have kids you must skip some opportunities!

Anyways, I have never seen a Ted Harris with points in years. Jeff Abernathy has or had a Ebony and tulipwood one, I believe. Local guy named Pete is moving to florida, call teddy and he can put you in touch with him. His is a 6 pointer fire engine red Cocobolo. A nice cue! He plays predator now! He offered it for sale to local pro Pooky last year! He may still have it?

I hope this info helps and one of the two leads materializes for you! Buying second hand is the way to go. Just hard to find. Waiting on one custom built takes some time.

Cmon I know someone out there has a Ted Harris cue they want to get a few bucks for.

Still looking, Leon sold his I know someone has an old plain Jane Ted Harris out there. Also looking for a cheap cam cue. PJ 300 range.

I have cues on order with Ted btw. I have a cue on order with Dennis searing also, but that will be 6 yrs from now. CAM cue Ted cue Abe cue al link this is the kind of stuff I want. Anyone can easily find something like a scruggs tasc. Viking predator. I like the hard to find hard to get and not priced liked a new road king

Wtb Cam Cue

I've been waiting for Chad to start building again bit I've heard nothing about it. I will be clear on what I want, first I don't want and higher end cam cues. I don't want an ivory joint. I prefer the steel joint cues he made. I know some has been trying to seek a purple heart cam with propeller inlays, and that's the opposite of what I want. Still looking for a Ted Harris cue also.
