I thought Tim used Triangle tips unless a customer specified otherwise.

Am I mistaken?

Could TS stand for Talisman soft? Tim Scruggs is a cuemaker. Didn't know he made tips.

It could be a tiger as well. I think if you post a pic might actually help.

I never heard of Tim Scruggs making any tips.

Sounds like something tasaddicts would sell... Sorry, I couldn't resist... Or maybe they are TIm Scruggs tribute tips? ;)

pic added, the tip plays a bit harder than Moori M.

One of my friend give me one to try, i played with it few days, it's much better than a Moori M what i used before. So I'd like to buy some more as a stock. I send Tim Scruggs a email regarding about this tip, hope will get a answer later on. Will share his feedback.

If you enter "tim scruggs tips" in the google search box, a result is found on the poolfanatic website but isn't available to view. I suppose what you have MAY be a tip made in tims shop or at least marketed as "tim scruggs tips" it may have been a joint venture between a tip company and scruggs...
Either way, it'll be cool to find out more about them!
Good luck in your search! I DO know this though, if you can't fins any more, check out kamui blacks. They're the best tip I've ever used that's foe sure!

yes, i did a lot search of 'tim scruggs tips'. But hardly to find one, so i post it here hope someone can help.
Played with kamui black S and SS with my old Mezz cue, it's great. But the new version of Kamui Black are a bit differ than the old one, they are a bit hard than the old ones.

It wouldn't surprise me if a tip manufacturer like Tiger imprinted a bunch of
tip's for Tim Scruggs with his logo as a special promotion.

TS tips

They used 15mm triangle tips for the most part. Mike soaked Elkmaster tips in half and half for my personal cues. Later deciding on Kamaui light brown medium soft tips because he was only getting 2 to 3 good tips out of a box of anything he could find worth using.
Nick :)

Well, this is interesting...

I too, have been told that Tim used Triangles...I'm sure that as many as he's gone through, that he and Triangle may have had special runs produced for him...

That being said, if you find any I'd be interested in getting a small handful of them...too.

I'd also mention to you to pick up some of the Soaked and Pressed tips from HangemHigh...I'm really liking the way that they play!
