WTB True Sneaky Pete - or Southwest Style SP

Every couple of years I will buy a new sneaky pete and sadly it seems like i always end up having to sell them for one reason or another. I have had some great responses in the past and picked up everything form Lambros to Scruggs.

I am once again in the market for a great player true sneaky and as always I like them beat to hell and well used. I would very much like to find a Southwest Sneaky Pete, I am confident they never made one that was true, but I found a Southwest Sneaky with only the SW butt cap and joints at a show one time (sadly I didn't have the money at the time) and the seller (Joe Salazar) said he knew of only 3 to exist, so they are out there. Chances are I still could not afford one, but if anyone has one that has a similar style and especially the brass 3/8x11 pin that would be great.

Otherwise please let me know what you have.

Added some things that the cue either must or must not have:
Must be wrap-less
Must not have any kind of Radial pin
Prefer non-laminated shafts
Prefer custom cue's or conversions

here is a true sneaky conversion of a Brunswick cue from the 30's - 40's, great old wood and is a very unusual orange-hued sapele (mahogany). I had this made in 2010.

Cue was made to play strong with a micarta ferrule and 3/8 10 pin.

An orig brown Ku-bumper was added for a nice period look.

You would have to beat the hell out of it, though, because it's in beautiful condition. Sorry about that.

Can sell it for $325 shipped.

best,
brian kc

I know of two Kersh's that are true SP's, They have alternating points like a SW. It would take tall money to get either though.

Thanks to everyone for the good posts and messages, still trying to decide and looking.

Also, I appreciate the information on the Kersh's and I would love to have one. But I am nearly positive they would be out of my price range (I'm trying to stay under $1200)

I am not sure how I missed these cues. It is pretty much what I'm looking for, I will keep an eye out for a Rick Howard Sneaky while I am still looking. Thanks!
