Does anyone know where I can pick up some highly figured pieces of curly purpleheart, curly maple, amboyna burl, buckeye burl, macassar ebony, bloodwood, brazillian rosewood, and tulip wood? Pieces large enough to be turned into either the handle portion or forearm portion of a full spliced cue? Any websites where I can see what the pieces look like? Thanks guys. Feel free to PM info or email me at hayden.mccall@gmacmdirect.com

I have 1.375 by 18 Braz rosewood ( ooooold growth ) and curly purpleheart.
First time buyer's discount, $200 for the two.

Lots of luck. There are hundreds of pieces of mediocre wood for every one, very special unique piece. Thing is, every cue maker, bowl or vase turner or cabinet maker also wants that very special piece. Finding such pieces are usually just luck. Some dealers try accumulating more of these special pieces and when someone finds such a dealer they normally stay closed mouthed as the more people who know about that dealer then two things occur, less availability and higher price.
