I can't even make a post on this site anymore without a bunch of a$$holes coming on and saying that I"m an ignorant ***** who just postures himself up. All of those posts that people keep referring to were in response to other posts where people were shooting down my game. Almost every bit of User CP that I have gotten on this site has been from providing information to help people with their game and all I get is grief.

I try to participate in an AZ event and one of the boards mos respected members jumps on me. He's apologized because he didn't see the AZB king thread and didn't know what was really going on, but at the same time, the other people who made threads declaring themselves respective king of AZ in their area didn't get jumped on the way I did.

This makes me want to not post here anymore. IT's just ridiculous. Every post that I've made about my game has been in response to other's shooting me down.... well maybe not every one. but most of them.

If someone wants to shoot me down, then stnad up and play me and don't say something ridiculous like we have to play for five hundred dollars or something. I can't afford it and have never claimed to be a money player.

He apologized cause he didn't see the thread. Take a deep breath, relax and then send a PM to the mods asking to have this thread deleted. :)

But if it really bothers you that much then maybe you need to take a little break from posting. I am not attacking you and I am not taking sides. Just saying.

If I lived in CA. I would play you.

Plus the clock thing was messed up so I wouldn't sweat it.

I know that Corey apologized and I understand why he reacted that way knowing that he hadn't read the other thread. It's like two or three people that keep hounding me on every thread I post in that pisses me off. It's getting old real fast.

Sorry folks jumped on you. I read your post about being king and I thought it was cool. In fact, I was thinking that next time I'm in LA maybe we can meet up and play a ladder set for $50 or so.

Maybe that's the difference, I wouldn't mind playing you for a little bit (or fun) BECAUSE I LIKE TO PLAY POOL. Maybe when you're willing to play strangers people who wouldn't want to play you get their hackles up.

Don't let them get you down, you're a valued asset on this site and I don't want you to leave. I enjoy your posts and even though we haven't interacted too much on here that doesn't mean I don't read your thoughts on things.

Thanks, Sixpack. I appreciate that. you know, you devote your life to something that sometimes has negative consequences and even though some people that know how I play have lauded up my game on this site before (like Frank Dabarber) people still give me flack. It gets old. If I would've been able to afford it on Saturday, I would've played in the battle of L.A. Frank asked me if I wanted to play since there was an open spot. I tried to get the money together but it was a little too last minute for me.

Any time someones EGO feels threatened they are going to react to place it back where it wants to be! WAY up high.

email is a VERY flat medium and unless someone knows you personally, or from past interaction, and your sense of humor (or lack of it:smile: ) then they will read what they see and not necessarily what you see when you write. If your words can be interpreted in 2 or 3 different ways then you can be rest assured that they most likely will be ...on line.

Emoticons help to make things more readable, or if you feel they aren't for you then just tailor your writing style so that it can't be misunderstood (this can be very difficult as you only read it based on your paradigm).

Ya gotta know at your speed that gamblers woof for a reason...to get someone elses ego to feel threatened and make them gamble to compensate...even if they don't have the best of it.

I put a couple of things in the above to show how you can read things in different ways and both could be correct. I know what I meant, but you could read them different ways.

Keep working on the things you said you're working on....it's all in there. Go easy, enjoy, life's too short to not have fun.

By the way I AM THE AZB champion at MY house!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who says otherwise will just have to leave.

Well i agree with other member's just relax and remember it is just an internet board. I would say some need a tougher skin here then on other board's because of difference's here but take up some yoga and relax. There is nothing on the internet to get worked up over

We all know as keyboard commandos that there are a lot of things said on the internet that would never be said face to face.

I've been playing this game for over 45 years and one of the main things I've developed is a pretty thick skin from all the barking and woofing over the years. Don't let them get under yours.

I enjoy your posts and if we ever run into each other, I'd like to knock'em around with you.

The AZB king challenge was meant to be fun anyway. I figured there would be some that would take it wrong. Sorry for the people that gave you a hard time.
