WTS: Unknown Cue Looks Schon or maybe Schuler or?

Correct chop. Gina, Meucci, Kikel, Tad and many others. But this cue isn't one of the many that we're made in the US. Just fact.

I didn't say that the 18 thread wasn't American. I have custom American made cues that are 18 thread. The profile of the pin is Kao-Kao. It is a common pin used by that company that I recognize.

Others have said 18 thread is Asian, I never said that. Many American makers have used 18 thread. I never said otherwise, others did but they are in error.

I never said the joint collar was not stainless steel. In fact Kao-Kao has made mostly stainless collared joints anyway.

I am not saying it's a "maybe" Asian import. I am saying it is definite. I recognize it as such.

.

Again, the profile of the pin is used by a great many American Custom Cue manufacturers as well...

AND this cue absolutely positively predates the existence of the Kao-Kao company, because it has been in my possession longer than that company has been in existence and I can date it back to at least 1990 when one of my son's was born because my friend that I bought the cue from had it at least at that point in time that I can recall for sure...

In all good conscience you cannot say it is definitely a "Asian Import" because you have nothing to pictorially depict it as such...
It is simply your opinion...
Moreover, a fundamentally flawed opinion at that...

I am happy to acquiesce should you or anybody else be able to provide at least one verifiable example of any foreign cue that even closely resembles this cue...

Yes, I can. And I do. And all of the pictures you have provided support that.

i'm not trying to pile on here, but in your original post you said it may have been made in the "early 90's", and now you say you are sure that it goes back to at least 1990. kind of contridicting yourself.

not contradicting myself, just recalling the earliest memory of the cue I recently had that I did not recall before...

peace.

Tired of seeing this cue bumping others down. You want to trade for a gun? I have a Spongebob Squarepants watergun that I got in my kids Happy Meal that I will trade you. Figure trade a "Made in China" for a "Made in China".

Wrong again buddy...

For starters...

ESPIRITU HAND CRAFTED CUSTOM CUES
Maker of pool cues from 1984 to present in Brandon, Mississippi.

I am holding a 1992 Espiritu cue in my hands right now with an original 18 thread pin in it. LOL!

I've got three Audricks. The rings are similar, and the joint pin and collar are similar. The tip of the pin is a little different though. And they are metric.

I also have a fair "cheap cue" collection and have researched them fairly well. I know I have come across this one before, for certain.

I've gone through a helluva lot of images at this point researching this one. I know I can nail this one down if I can find the right picture, it is very familiar to me. The problem is they were sold under so many different brand names that tracking them down can be so tough. Many if not most were unmarked as well. The only way is going through hundreds (thousands really) of pictures. I have a sort of photographic memory, but if the picture in my mind isn't tied to anything useful then it makes it real hard. I have thousands of pics of cues on my computer, plus I did the online image search. When I see the right one it will trigger memory and make everything much easier...then I will find it. I can go through many pics very fast.

The only thing I have connected with this cue in my memory is Taiwan, likely Kao-Kao. Some similar cues were sold by Carlscues on Ebay but he does not carry them anymore so I can't compare with his current stock.
