WTT Computer

Extremely unimpressed with your pricing and selling practices. This board is "Hybrid SLI", which means you run a single video card in tandem with the motherboard's built-in video chip. This is a FAR cry from 2 GTX 260's in SLI, which would actually be quite nice. The way you advertise this: "GeForce GTX 260 SLI" DIRECTLY implies that you have 2 GTX 260's running in SLI. I can tell this isn't the case by your pics, but others might not be able to tell, or might assume the 2nd GTX 260 isn't installed. On top of that, you have a BFG video card. While BFG was a great company that made a great product, they're not in business anymore... so good luck getting support if it goes bad.

The prices you listed are irrelevant. Your parts are used, and from my EXTENSIVE experience with buying and selling computer parts (I build PCs too!), that means take 25-30% off if they're in excellent condition. You're looking at MAYBE a $600 value here considering subtracting 30% and the poor quality power supply. I would never use that power supply in anything I cared about, so I would replace it immediately (subtract about $100). While your range does in fact start out at $600, you're post is extremely misleading about the actual value of this package system. I have built FAR superior systems for less than $1238.

Why is the MW2 account banned? Are you a hacker? Do you have hacks installed for any other games? Are you on the PBBans master list?

How much of the software on your system is legally purchased?

Good luck with the trade....

1) Maybe you should take more time to read what is posted ....

---"Asus 2xSLI motherboard capable to 8GB of ddr2

GeForce GTX 260 SLI , almost 1gb of ddr3 video
(SLI means you an add a second video card to the system and run them together as one if you want to. In case you didn't already know this)" ---

Where exactly does it say 2 GTX 260's??? The board can support 2 SLI video cards not just one. I only have one in there and thats what I said in my sale.

You should do some research before opening your trap about things you don't know about such as "Hybrid SLI"

DO SOME RESEARCH. Here's some links for you just in case you don't know how to do a search on google. :-)

Oh and I'm so sorry that I can't control the fact that BFG shut down, but like you said....they do make a great product. thx

2) Maybe you missed something when I posted the prices of everything to show you the current prices for things if you were to build this system yourself right now brand new.

If you think that taking the time to show people the price of parts is trying to mislead people , you must think that the people looking at the prices don't know their head from their ass. I don't think I ever said this was a brand new system. Yeah I've used this pc for a while now but like I said, I take good care of it. Irrelevant, haha no Irrelevant would have been saying that I paid $XXXX.XX amount for this system months and months ago. You said you have extensive experience building computers, then you should also know that computer parts prices drop pretty quick. So in lets say in a year span, what do you think those parts cost back then hmmmm....yeah misleading people by posting current prices which are way lower then what I paid back then.

Like I said, for example that coolermaster case was $250 when I bought it, now it's about $140 or whatever. Don't you think misleading would be more like "Coolermaster case - $250" I don't know whats wrong with you, maybe you have some wires crossed or something idk.

3) Why the hell do you care? Do you play MW2? Did I make you rage quit and qq to your mom cause I shot you through a wall?

If I was trying to screw anyone over why would I say one little detail of having multiplayer online banned, of one game that's on my system. I didn't even have to say anything...but I did. why? Because I feel if I was getting stuff I would like to know EXACTLY what I'm getting. Sorry for being what you call "misleading" lol.

-------How much of the software on your system is legally purchased?-------

4) All of it is purchased except photoshop, sorry for hanging onto a $600 piece of software I got for free, my bad. And I do have discs for everything.

Thanks for TRYING to ruin my trade, I really appreciate it but next time you should probably know what your talking about before trying a stunt like that.

This statement tells me you don't know what you're talking about. You see that one long blue slot on your motherboard? That's the only slot for a graphics card. It CANNOT support two video cards in SLI. It can support ONE video card performing in tandem with the MOTHERBOARD'S integrated graphics. When you say "GTX 260 SLI" that directly implies "I have two GTX 260's running in SLI". It's just a shortened way of saying it.

In the review you posted (legitreviews is great btw) the "hybrid sli" function actually decreases the performance of the video card they used (9800GTX). Hybrid SLI is one big giant fail.

I'm guessing you mentioned the banned online game because that's where the value of this particular game lies... in multiplayer, and you didn't want people coming back to the forums *****ing about it. Just my guess. Plus I hate hackers with a passion, if you couldn't tell.

I've said what I wanted to. Now people on here can make a more educated decision with more accurate info.

If anyone wants any clarification, feel free to PM me.

Systim6, your not helping your trade by NerdRaging over Hieros post. I would suggest the best thing to do would have been to simply respond to the posting, rubuting his claims if you felt so inclined, but in a more, "not trying so hard to hide something" tone.

But, just an observation and my own opinion.

By the way, Hiero is right about the SLI, it did seem that you were representing dual graphics cards in your OP. Just saying "GeForce GTX 260 SLI" indicates two cards. NOW if you said GeForce GTX 260 WITH SLI capability. But I too got the impression from your OP that you were trying to get rid of a sub-par system that you aren't happy with.

I am in no means attacking you, just giving another observation from a third party. Take it how you see fit.

Carl

Ovbiously you don't know what PCI-E slots are. And the hybrid sli doesn't slow down anything cause hybrid sli only works with vista. Maybe ur missing the point, this board can support 2 sli cards. Dude I'm not selling mw2 I'm throwing everything in if someone wants that stuff. I highly doubt anyone would be looking for a computer just cause it has mw2, lol

Wow, just wow. Yeah your right, just trying to hide a sub par system by provinging as much info as I can on the parts. I'm sorry your interpret sli as duel, why didn't u assume it was a tripple sli . Maybe u were too excited in reading and missed the part where it says you can add a second card and run them together.

Wow..talk about an AZ community welcome!! See that you're just rejoined since 2008.

Are you going to tell someone that his cue is only worth XXX so don't buy it. Your post is in poor taste and come off as it the man did something wrong...should have just asked the guy to clarify his information before accusing him of wrong doing. What with the red boom on this new/old user...did he cheated anyone??

Systim6, PM sent to you about the trade. Still thinking if I want to trade my olivier or not.

Duc.

Sorry if some of my words are misspelled I'm using my Droid to post and the predictive text gets me sometimes.

Nah, I've never done any wrong, in any deal. I usually just read all the threads don't post too much.

I've never bought or sold anything on AZ, I'm not a scammer at all.

I just put this deal out there cause I'm done playing video games. Just getting back into pool. I'm having a cue built by Dale teague but I don't know if ill even like it or not yet, so in the mean time Im looking for a nice cue hoping someone here might need a comp and I need a cue. I guess I could just try to sell my comp on Craigslist or something, sorry for putting this comp out there for someone that might need one

You have exactly 1 PCI-E X16 slot that "discreet" graphics cards (like the GTX 260) plug into. Where would you plug the second one in to run in SLI? You're falsely representing the capabilities of your system. You CANNOT plug two graphics cards into that motherboard to run in SLI. It has an on-board video processing chip that can run in "hybrid SLI" with a SINGLE discreet graphics card.

Duc, I will correct someone falsely advertising any product... cue or computer. I'm not sure if he did it intentionally or not, but the fact that he's a hacker means he gets no patience or benefit of the doubt from me.
