I like the Gib,my favorite,i gave my Strat. away years ago for a Car Deal
good luck
I have had a lot of guitars over the years....one I miss the most and the one I was dumbest to let go of was a 1965 Fender Jaguar....it played great. I played with it in a band for a long time, quit playing for a long time and it sat in the corner. I said "What the hell...I never play that thing." so I let it go for a song...along with the Crate amp I had with it....
Of course, I also passed on a $100 Balabushka back in 1972 (picked up a $30 Brunswick instead...no way in hell that I would ever pay $100 for a pool cue)...I have always had a real head for really smart moves...
All 3 of these guitars play exceptionally well. The Dot has a really good sound for an Epi...they can be hit or miss, but I promise that this one is a hit. The Fender had a professional setup about a year ago, and has been in the closet ever since..played maybe 2 times...really light touch and fast neck...I was going to have the Gibson setup at the same time, but the guy at the music store said it didn't need anything.
I bought all 3 of these guitars new...they have not been banged around or anything at all. I play them for relaxation. I always wanted these guitars when I was young, but I could not afford them. When I retired in 2005, I said F---- it...it is my money, so I started buying what I wanted. Now, I am showing a few miles, and a few parts need replacing, so I will pass these toys on to someone who will care for them...
