Specs on the Josey? Pics/Specs of the D. Hill.

I love it! Lists a MINT josey for dirt cheap... Mentions possible sale of darrin hill... People don't want the Josey. If it was the Hill listed, people would be asking about the potential sale of the Josey.
This place is silly sometimes to say the least.
Hey guys, just thought I'd let you all who are interested in the hill know that if you run a search on here for some of darrin's cues, you might find a couple at STEALLING PRICES!

btw, i'm not trying to knock this man's future potential sale of a cue he said he MIGHT list for sale, because I'm sure he'll have a great deal on the hill as well. I'm just sayin' to make a sale on here seems to be increasingly difficult. Even for sellers with established track records....

hmmmmm....

Specs please. Butt and shaft. Mint usually means no bluing on shaft as well.

I was thinking the same thing, and that shaft looks like it was made BM - Blue maple - very rare on mint cues.

Otherwise the cue looks very nice.

Has the shaft been cleaned up, and the pics are older?

Make sure to ask if there are any dents, dings or scratches. I know it says mint ... But I'm just saying.

My only point was that the word 'mint' gets tossed around a lot in the Wanted/FS section. The cue is clearly not 'mint'. With that said, it's still a nice cue, a very nice cue. These Joseys play very, very well and are a stiff player. Many people swear by theirs, and I am no different...I just love mine! Additionally, Keith's build time is beginning to increase, as more players discover his cues and their consistent playability.

My point is this...it is best to be completely upfront as to the condition of a cue pre-sale. These types of cues get played with, as they are meant to be...it is difficult to play with a cue regularly, as the bluing of the shaft would indicate, and not have some minor dingers here and there. That is not necessarily a bad thing, as it clearly shows that someone loved the way this cue played.

If the seller would like to PM me, I would be more than happy to tell him how to get that shaft looking like new again, with little time or effort. I truly wish him all the best with his sale.
