Wu vs. Reyes!!! FREE STREAM LINK-No one is talking about this match?

I know many will just say its an exhibition but the players in these matches will play hard and I doubt you will see too many deals as both players are getting decent money even if they lose. This is very cool stuff and I look forward to seeing more of these and like this format, we get to see great pool and the players do okay. Imagine watching stuff like this on TV here with 2 top players battling it out every Friday or Saturday night, one day perhaps but no one besides us diehards will care to watch a match for so little money, it would need to be like a hundred thousand dollar challenge or something crazy like that.

Sad but true!!!!

mudball...Thanks for posting that link!

Was it just me, or did anybody else think that table looked like a Diamond knockoff?

The recording is available to watch now. The kick @ 18:35 is top shelf (even though he called the 6, so many good things could happen with the way he went at it). It's so difficult to fade that kind of kicking game. I didn't see the entire match but I wish Efren would have experimented with breaking from the center more. It really baffles me to see the elite players breaking from the rail in 10 ball, but I guess you can't argue with success :)

I haven't cheered like that for a pool match for a long time. It was so good to see the old master still can get in a high gear when he is motivated. He's still got all the old tricks. For a while I thought Wu would claw back, I've seen him do it before. This kind of small venue is perfect for Efren at this stage of his career. If it were at a bigger event with more people while in the Philippines he gets jittery cause everyone expects him to make a circus shot every time at the table.

I also noticed he was using his older Japanese Cosmo EBR 501 instead of the Diveney sneaky.

I'll check in for the next match. Between this and TAR pool just might get exciting to watch again!

Efren is still THE MAN!!! He wins when he wants to win!! As to Efren's cue, he will be meeting with his old compadre who is currently residing in Maryland and they will discuss the specs of the cue that his compadre will be making for him personally. Efren's compadre is an accomplished woodworker and cue maker in Maryland. He is still virtually unknown but his products speak for themselves.

Watch out for this cuemaker as his cues are making waves already in Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia...

Oh, and Efren will be in the country by the 10th of the month to get ready for DCC.
