I received my new X-Breaker on Saturday and had plenty of time to test it out. I ordered the Classic maple style without a wrap and let me say that the piece of maple is high quality, I love the look of it. I have been trying out many different breaks in 8ball & 9ball and pretty much no matter where I break from I get a good spread, depending on table conditions. The best three spots for me are from the side rail hitting the first ball, a diamond from the side rail using second ball, and last, but not least is head on. On newer cloth and clean balls head on seems to really get the balls moving and I can control the cueball with it easily. On slow cloth and dirty balls I like to use second ball a diamond from the side rail. I know that this cue has helped me runout a good number games more than the old break cue. With the old one I would break, make some balls, and still have a cluster, which made it harder to run out. Now with the X-Breaker it leaves a wide open spread and makes it easier for me to runout. Jumping with the X-Breaker is a breeze, I can't believe how easy it is to get the cueball up with minimal effort. It gets the cueball up fast with little force. Jumping with it helped me runout one game on Saturday for sure, I was hooked by my own ball and instead of trying a difficult combo I went for the easy jump and ranout. The cue is a step towards better breaking and jumping for me and many others. Richard is really a nice guy to talk to and treats customers very well. The cue was shipped in about a week and a half. Well worth the money. Anyone looking to buy one should check out his site that has pictures, videos, and specs. www.xtremebilliard.com
