true. and there are a couple of other cool things:
- entrance to the actual venue is FREE.
- live streaming is also FREE.
- the event is live on national TV.

i just hope ALL major pool tournaments are like this.

*i'll probably be on the venue to watch, on the last day. i hope i could shoot some photos as well so that i could share it here.

Gosh, pool in all its glory is something to behold in Philippines. I hope I can experience it someday. You are indeed fortunate, arps, to be in a place where pool is cool and celebrated. And free? Wow! I do love that! :cool:
 
aawww... very unfortunate turn of events from Yu. she ran the rack out, but scratched after pocketing the 10. Ouschan is now on the hill after this mistake.
 
now it's ball-in-hand for Jasmin and the table is pretty open now.
 
...and then Jasmin scratches leaving a more open table with 5 balls. Yu takes this rack trailing 4-5 behind Jasmin.
 
I thought it was over - after a long safety battle where Jasmin seemed to always get lucky and have an advantage, she misses an easy 9-10 combination. now it's hill-hill.

Chou leading 1-0 over Jennifer B who is hot in a tank top. She is only one wearing tank top and I love women in tank top . I applaud her fashion sense :)

The only thing wrong with the stream, and its significant, is that one of the commercials that frequently runs is for sabonking. They advertise gambling on cock fights. In between matches I look up at the screen and I see clips of cock fighting:eek:. Now, I know that the US is not the intended target and we are getting the stream in a round about way, but is cock fighting accepted throughout Asia? I'm pretty sure that its considered barbaric in Europe, like here
