Yang vs. Orcullo

That had to make Jay feel good hearing about Dennis dismanteling Corteza and not missing many balls a couple days ago.I think that Dennis and Manola are both monsters coming to be in 9ball or 10 ball.--Leonard

Every hear of horses that run their best races in morning workouts or in the paddock before the real race?:D Johnnyt

Attached below is the poster of the match up.

During the press conference, Orcullo said he felt that he had slightly better cue ball control than Yang.

Yang was then asked if he was scared of Orcullo, as he did not match up with Orcullo during the WPC.

A very mild mannered Yang replied, "I do not match up the day before my tournament matches. I have never been afraid of anyone since I started gambling as a kid."

Yang believes the first two days are crucial--if one player falls behind more than 10 games going into the last day, that player would have a very hard time catching up.

The match up will take place in a shopping mall, I hope the crowd will behave when Yang is shooting. Personally, I like Yang's chances, if everything is on the up and up.

By the way, this matches are not live on TV, the boardcast is delayed...and there are only 82 seatings in the arena.

Hi Cross,
How is the crowd and the playing condition?
What do you think about the performance of each of them, are they in top form?
Thank you,
Richard

Sorry Mr Xbreaker, couldnt say for sure. I am not actually watching the match just waiting for score updates from my friends who are in the venue. They said that there are too many people watching and it is already uncomfortable for them to watch. They are going shopping now and will go back to watching the match later. will try to get what I can and get back to you guys. :)

Also, my friends say there are a lot of pretty girls in the venue :D :D They are going to look around for more LOL!

Hi Jay and everyone!
I just joined the AZ Forum, and Jay's staking $1,000 in the Yang-Orcullo match caught my interest. The response to his offer was quick.
Personally, I'm with Jay on this one. Saw Orcullo play day before yesterday against newly crowned Philippine champion Lee Van Corteza. Dennis hardly missed a shot in the race to 23 match, which he won handily. But it was a game of 10-ball.
For the info of everyone, we have a website here in Manila called "poolphilippines.com" that will do regular reports on the match, perhaps even a blow-by-blow in its forum. Check it out for updates.

Had no luck getting to this site. ??

I'm recording and the telecast is starting. Hopefully, I don't f*** up. :D

Thanx bro! Any advance info? The last posted score was 9-8, in Dennis' favor...

Man, the commercials are just too much. No game has been shown. There was even a commercial of a candidate who's running for the May Elections and names Dennis Orcullo, "World Billiards Champion". WTF
