I found this viking 1x1 case at a local yard sale.I know what kind of case it is but I was wanting someone to give me an aproximate age and value,the case is a solid 8 out of 10 it is in very good condition.

Looks like an 80's Anaconda print Viking. The lining looks to be pretty well worn which hurts you somewhat. I would say the value is around $125 - $150.

In this condition if it still has a value of that much then I am very happy with my purchase.Just curious but what would it be worth in mint condition and are these considered collectable,,Thanks,,,Noel
 
betcha got it for $5 you dog! Nice one. I was waiting for someone to show off a Bushka. Pretty cool looking case - I didn't even know Viking had made those style of cases. I wonder if it was domestically made or imported.

I think $150 is tops in mint condition. That is a cool case, you just don't see many of them.

This is the first one I have seen.And you hit the nail on the head I did get it for $5.:grin-square:
 
Nice find, it's hard to beat a 5 dollar case. I found a steal a few weeks ago at one, a box case and a vertical logo huebler for 20 bucks. I love yard sales.
 
The last couple of cases I've found that had chalk like that in them came pretty clean with Quick Clean table cloth cleaner. http://www.quick-clean.com/

I wrapped a rag around an old shaft. Put a rubber band tightly around the rag and swabbed out the interior. It made a big difference.

Just be careful that the rag doesnt come off the stick of use a towel long enough that that it never goes all the way below the top and you have an end to hang on to.
