Congratulations to you and kudos to your pool hall.

Try to give something back to your poolroom by being a good ambassador for the game. Always dress presentably and conduct yourself with etiquette as a means of showing both respect for and appreciation to the proprietor of the poolroom.

And, of course, good luck with your game.

Congrats man,

My pool hall did the exact same thing, I run a weekly tournament on thursday nights for the regulars and i wear there there name on my shirts. In return they gave me free pool.

Ditto...except for the "luck" part, anyway.

When people look at you and the patch, they are thinking they're looking at the pool room, as you're representing it, you're an extension of it. Wear it well.

Maybe you can get some more sponsors? (before the barges full of nondeliverable soybeans and corn clog up the river and the money, that is  )

dont worry about the dress part and respect. im a clean cut person and respect people and am polite.

unfortunatley, i dont think theyre many other places round here that would sponsor. and i think all i need is free pool. ill only need around 20 bucks for nats..maybe more.

Stop trying to steal the kids lunch money shane :p :p ... Wanna play some cheap sets at state? :P

back to this thread..

what kind of tables does the hall have?

Very good advice sjm,
Let me add some more advice based on my experience handling sponsorships.

Collect photos from the event where you sponsorship is visible.

Select the best of these and make a collage of 5 or 6 photos. Print it out so they can put it on the notice board or frame it. Maybe a few shots with big stars.

Also, write up a report about the event. Where you were seen, comments and questions received about the sponsor. Include the internet posts.

Show that you are pro-active in promoting the sponsor.

This will provide a case study for repeat and future sponsorships.
