DM, that's just like the Buddy Hall seminar, $150 for 4 hours with probably the best 9 baller of all time and only two guys, me and a guy named Walt, were willing to plunk down the money. I just don't get it! It's a wonder there are as many good players out there as there are!!

(shaking head in amazement)...That's unreal!

Just think how many others COULD BE better players or how much better the decent players could get over and above where they are from a session or sessions like that!! Is it cheapness...broke...or plain stupidity?

When did Buddy offer this?
Jeeesh, if I knew he did that, I would have booked it myself when he was here playing the UPA event.
I'd have at least 3 other people signed up.

Geesh ...

How many pages is everyone going to write about aiming? You line the object ball up with the pocket, keep your eye on that spot, and stroke your cueball
to hit that spot, and you do it over and over and over and over again till you
don't miss, then you move the object to a different spot and repeat.

Something is only HARD when you think about it in the WRONG way. When you
are taught to think about something in the right way, it becomes simple.

Just buy this.

It's not that I'm lazy; it's that I just don't care.

It's not how many pages are going to be written...it's how many are going to be repeated. That one was given many times before. But thanks for the contribution and the page count.

.......(and then as a result of this lack of awareness, we have arguments with the high priest moron of them all JLW and guys like him) (I also hope you don't teach your kid to "close his eyes" as part of an aiming system because it isn't one)

Let me ask you a question. Honestly, what exactly is it that bothers you so much? What has made you so angry toward me? The fact that I don't acknowledge your mastery of all facets of the game? That I might actually honestly disagree with you about something? Guess what? I've played pool for a long time too. Have I ever suggested that your approach to pool is wrong? Have I ever said anything negative about you without being attacked first? And yet, you are filled with rage toward me.

You really do need to grow up. Seriously. You have a problem. You know nothing about me. I come on here to discuss pool, and instead I'm subjected to your childish, unprovoked rants. Aren't you tired of being so pissed off at someone who's never done anything to you? How old are you?

Maybe this will make things clear for you-I DON"T CARE WHAT YOU THINK!! I don't want or need your advice. It's sad, because you might possibly have some enlightening things to say regarding pool. Who knows? But you are an a$$. With every post you make, you demonstrate that.

Well, based on the fact that you said I don't even make you angry any more in a previous post, I see those anger-management classes didn't work. You've blown your gasket and you damn well CARE WHAT I THINK or you wouldn't be responding in a shouting manner. ROTFLMAO

I have no rage toward you...only amusement at your stupid idiotic posts about aiming or the lack thereof. Truly...you're entertaining as hell.

I also see that you didn't post ANYTHING on this one about aiming....good move, you might not know jack shit about aiming, but at least you're learning NOT to open your dumb mouth...every time you open your mouth you keep digging a deeper hole for yourself in the dunce class.

I asked this to you before...why don't YOU answer the questions. You're 40 years old and play 5 hours or so a week. OK...how long have you been playing? How seriously have you played during those years? Have you played on the road or tournaments? What's your high run in straight or # of racks in 9 ball? How much do you like to play for?

Oh yeah...and in answer to your first question at the top...you're an asshole and more stupid than dirt. Next question.......

Actually, I wasn't shouting. I was printing in a large enough type for you to read. Sound it out. You can do it. Or have one of your great grandchildren read it to you.

I did post something about aim on this thread. Not very detail oriented are you? And have someone read you a few books. I have yet to find one instructional book about pool that contradicts anything I have said about aim.

How frustrating it must be for you to put so many more hours into your game and get lesser results. All those years of hour upon hour of practice and you've developed no feel whatsoever for the game. If only those thugs hadn't broken your thumbs back in 61, I'm sure you'd have been a world beater.

Actually, I'm kind to animals, I give to charity, and I have a Masters Degree. Do you?

FLUSH........damn, you're still there.

At the Reno Open at the Sands on June 6th. He offered a 1h seminar at Hardtimes just last week too. Tony Annigoni brokered the deal I believe. He paid Buddy to do it for the USPPA members and it was free for them. Afterwards, Buddy offered it to everyone else for $150. I thought I was going to have to sit there with 30 or so other players but it turned out to be just two of us! What a deal!!!!

how do you know you have had greater results than him??? just based on what you have posted on this site compared to what he's posted.........i'd have to say you don't really know shit about shit.

but i'm always fair, and would love to hear what you have accomplished pool related. i'm sure since you're so in tune with you feel of the game that you've snapped off a couple pro tourneys...........since like i stated before, most pro players have some sort of way of aiming to fall back on. seeings how you have no need for this, i'm sure you're giving them the 7.

oh..........and i wouldn't start questioning DM's education and success in other areas in life..........you might need quite a bit of weight in that department.

thanks

Hey numb nuts...the reference to saying something about aim was on your previous "POST" not thread. For a guy who supposedly has a Masters, you're not very bright, are you? You mentioned NOTHING in the POST about aiming, NOR on this one. But then again...you really didn't say ANYTHING about aiming on the entire thread either. "I don't use aiming systems"....but wait.... "That doesn't mean that I DON'T AIM"
What the hell is that Einstein...aren't you somewhat confused? Either you aim...or you DON'T aim. Which is it? Then you said, "when I'm playing good, the angles look a lot "straighter". That's brilliant!!! A 45 degree cut looks like a 20 degree cut in your eyes. You sure must run a shitload of racks seeing that!!

I haven't seen one pool book that describes the aiming process anywhere close to the fashion that you have. You can't contradict something that isn't there or doesn't exist. The only thing you did say, was that you concurred with Pete LaFond about the path of the OB to the pocket. Well, goofball...THAT is an AIMING SYSTEM. Apparently you've read NO BOOKS ON AIMING and remain clueless. You just make shit up as you go along.

Ever since I was a teenager I've ALWAYS played good pool, and still continue to do that. YOU, on the other hand do everything in your power to evade the questions that I've asked, so let me do it once more.
You're 40 years old and play 5 hours a week (whoop-tee-do). How many years have you been playing? Have you ever had enough game to go on the road? How many tournaments have you played in and won? How much money do you like to play for? What's your biggest win or loss in a day, or week? What's your high run in straight? How many racks have you run in a row in 9-ball?

Here's my guess...you won't answer anything just as before because you're a total f*#king hack. And as VAP said, from what you've written you don't know shit about shit, and you especially can't perform it.

Maybe the most important question is...What state do you reside? I'm sure if I'm not in close proximity, there are plenty of other guys on here that would LOVE to put you to the test. I have a pretty good handle after a few years on this forum as to who lives where and can set you up with a game. Whaddaya say, Efren...you got the balls to set a game up with someone?

Let me guess. You're in your early twenties, have taken lessons, have met a few pros, and have played in some tourneys. So you're the big shit now, huh? You deserve special treatment from all those around you because of all you've accomplished in pool? I don't care if you and your buddy Drivermaker are Vince and Fast Eddie (which you both actually do appear to believe). That doesn't give you two a license to be assholes. Every time I see one of you two post something on here, it's some condescending bs meant to belittle others and make you feel superior. Never is there any attempt to actually have a mature discussion about pool. To have an exchange of ideas about the game. To possibly disagree without becoming disagreeable. Or to consider the possibility that someone could do something in a manner different from yours and still be ok. No. Only to continue feeding your starving egos. It's your way or the highway. You two don't have anything more to learn about the game, so you come on here to lecture the undeserving.

..... I guess I can stop practicing for a few minutes. Hmmm. Let me see. Someone posted something. Wait, they're not a pro. Yeah! Here's my opportunity to feel superior. They obviously know nothing about the game. I mean, how could they know more than me? I'll teach them to post on my forum. And they better not disagree with me! Take that! I sure put them in their place. I feel so much better. Now I can go practice for another 10 hours, because being good at pool is the most important thing in life. I know it seems harsh, but you gotta show these idiots tough love....

Apparently what you two want is some type of class system where people are required to present their pool credentials before they are allowed to express any thoughts. Because who could know more about pool than the two of you? Right? And if all else fails, go to the old standby---challenge them to a game. That'll shut em up. Because, if you or Drivermaker could beat me in a game, that proves that you both know more than me, right? That I don't have any idea what I'm talking about.

Are you two really so insecure as people that you feel the need to attack others for no reason? People come on here to enjoy themselves and talk about pool. They have families and commitments. Things in their lives that are actually important. As Willie Mosconi said, "There's more to life than pool." If you have reached a certain level of success with your pool playing, good for you. It takes a huge amount of hard work and determination, But it's not the most important thing in the world. And being good at it doesn't make you important. It's too late for Drivermaker. He's already gone to the Dark side. But you still have time to realize that. Unfortunately, you probably won't until it's too late. You'll end up a bitter old man (like Drivermaker) who is an asshole. But boy can he shoot pool.

thats a very creative way to avoid questions.

if you scroll up, i didn't say anything out of the way to you UNTIL you started in assuming that you knew more about other people. i don't "attack" people until they start giving out bad info, and the first thing i do, is just say that its wrong, and don't hammer them until they start acting like an idiot. which you started to do in your last few posts, therefore, here i am.

the fact is that you've made statements that the way you "don't aim" works perfectly well for you.........that being said, you must not miss much and must me almost at an open/pro level.

yes, i have taken some lessons, and do know quite a few pro players......which is enough for me to know that you're full of shit. aiming by feel is the best way to do it, but it doesn't always work that way.

its funny how people who don't play very well always go back to that "there's more to life than pool" statement when they're backed into a corner.

let me guess.......you don't gamble either. but you'll damn sure come onto an online forum and talk like you're hot shit. now that someone has asked you to show what you know........you change the entire conversation...
