buddy comes into my shop with a meucci he was using that one of his teamates had bought for $30.00. he tells me that it was playing great then he missed an easy shot, then banged the cue butt down on the floor, and the cue came apart at the a joint. someone had broken the cue and using contact cement glued it back together. it played just long enough for the seller to get away with his $30.00 bounty.
it had a 3/8 by 10 aluminum screw with no buzz ring. i just drilled the forearm and handle area, epoxied in a 5 inch long 5/8 laminated dowel.

Now someone is going to try that cue and say this Meucci hits great.
Then he'll go out and buy a Meucci.
