You-tube ripping us off must read

How much of the content online do actual players own? I don't think I've ever watched a video that a player created themselves, therefore, are not entitled to any kickback.

Come to think of it - AZ Mike should pay me to post here. Hell he is making all of this advertising money off of this site and it is because people come here to read my posts. I have almost 9,000 of them.

You are correct. That is why it's extremely import that the players know their rights. And to not engage in the recording without a contract. Quite simple.

you are right !!!! you should start a website/bog of your own .... thats what i did

Is there any 'non smart-ass replies' available here? Positive replies and suggestions to make this a reality for pool players?

Thanks in Advance.

I owned a GNC store once -- want to know why I didn't open Watchez Vitamin and Supplement Shop? Cause no one would come there since it didn't have a brand and an expectation of quality. People would have just driven on by and never stopped. Most probably wouldn't have even known I was there.

Yup!

They're pool matches. Not Seinfeld reruns.

So you just inadvertently disrespected every pool player on earth with that comment. That their art and talent is worth nothing? Are you in the right forum?

Not my point. They're just not entitled to anything from YouTube videos. Simple as that. Unless their lawyers can insert a clause upon tournament entries.

Most blogs are like being a street entertainer....at best, a coffee house entertainer.

YouTube is the Carnegie Hall of posters...where you can be a star.

Huh? You're a lawyer now? They are entitled... Technically speaking, and lawfully speaking, a pool player can have all his/her videos removed.

Exactly, and enough is enough already. Lets turn this around so pool and the players have an avenue to be protected and earn some of the revenue. It's the "RIGHT" thing to do. IMO!
