Okay gang, lets hear some of your favorite cue websites, commerical and non-commerical (you can throw in url's in ya like). List them, give a few blurbs and lets keep it civil and not let the thread turn into a runaway flame war, LOL.

1. Palmer Collector - I love Palmers and I think Chris has done a phenomenal job bringing us info, pics and stories. I think the collectible case section is excellent as well.

2. Proficient Billiards - lots of eye candy and Sherbine does great work.

3. I Love Cues (Lucky) - tons of eye candy.

4. Wu's Cues - one of the nicest private collections on the Internet.

5. Cue Addicts - I've done business with these guys and they are always a pleasure to work with. Their site is very diverse, great for the beginner to the very discriminating collector.

6. Billiard Cue - some of the nicest cue pics online.

7. Icon Cue - another awesome private collection online and beautiful pics.

8. Classic Cues aka Pool Table Magic - Nice diverse collection of cues forsale.

9. Cornerstone Custom Cues - Nice collection of mid to high end cues.

10. Erik Lee Cues - this bum has all the Omega/DPKs that I want!!!

A few others that I visit on occasion.

3. I Love Cues (Lucky) - tons of eye candy.

Add to that, John Madden's Web-Site as I want one of his Cues.

I visit these sites in no particular order:

1) Wu's Cues
2) CueAddicts
3) ClassicCues
4) Erik Lee's Cues
5) Cornerstone
6) IconCue
7) I Love Cues
8) Billiard Cue
9) Chalkers
10) Proficient Billiards

Wow, I'm totally floored. Thanks, Ricky.

I'm working on making my site more entertaining to the casual visitor with stories, etc., so it's not just a reference site and I'm getting a little better with the camera.

Besides A-Z and E-Bay, my favorite sites are:

1) Iconcue - Jeff made me realize I had an avid interest in photography and he is coaching me along with it. It's rare that someone can set me off by example, but when I saw his photos I was really impressed. With just a few pointers my shots have increased a ton. Plus, I think he has the finest collection, to my tastes, on display anywhere. he owns a lot of incredible cues but I especially like the Szamboti's (wow!), the Schick's, and the Hercek's.

2) Proficient. The picture on the opening page last week I almost had a clean sweep - they were all my cues except two and the ones up there now are mostly all mine. It is amazing Scott can do all that and maintain the site. He's doing all the work himself now too. He's just an amazing person. I have the utmost respect for him. His gallery photos are very helpful at identifying off brand cues. He has more pictures of cues on display than anyone.

3) Pool Table Magic - they get the most interesting cues and seem to acquire a lot of cues that I'm into. Once in a while they do a special spread and it gets my attention. I keep an eye on them for price guidelines - they seem to price things well and aren't afraid to display their prices.

4) Billiardcue - Dick acquires and displays a wide range of cues and he's a good photographer.

5 & 6 ) Tied:

Cueaddicts - They sell a lot of newer cues but I like it when they get unusual cues - they'll deal cues the others won't carry or don't seem to get a lot of, like old Schons and Paradise. I would like it a lot more if the prices were displayed. In fact, it would probably be tied for 3rd if that were the case.

Chalkers - It's a great site but they seem to have stopped acquiring new cues. I like the archived articles and the fact that Martyne has a flair for the artistic. The prices are also interesting.

7 and more... Cue makers and collectors. I see Joel Herceks site is super slick , Deno Andrews is great, historic and informative, Cornerstone gets a lot of cues, Raven Cues, Cue Components, these are all very educational. Take bits and pieces from them all and put together one hell of a cue making college and museum.

Anyway - There are a lot of sites I like and I seem to visit them pretty often.

jeez! ranked no.7! i don't get no respect:( :(
LOL! That wasn't a ranking Jeff and definitely not a knock on you. I just have this goofy mindset of numbering things when I make up a list. You got a crazy collection there and your pics are just outstanding. But if you give me a break on that Omega/DPK and I'm sure you'll find your name at #1, hahaha!

Cue Websites

I have burned many hours at "work" looking at all of the sites you list and love them all, but... I also love the photos on Hercek's page and I love browsing through Richard Black's high end cue photos. Very cool pages!! Also love Wright Cue Co. page and wish they were still selling....

what about bcmcue.com????? I love to see his work. His pictures really bring out the beauty of his cues. I like them anyway.
