It was when the "Earl Strickland" series first came out, mine was all white, black pseudo-wrap with the natural color shaft. Only reason I got it was a friend who was a "better player" at the time had the all black graphite (shaft included) and I liked it...
Thank god I never had a full graphite shaft cue.... Never will either!! hehe
