your opinions on falcon cues please

I can't really comment on the new one's , but the older ones play very nice!!
 
I love the look of the new full splice series. Falcon has been used quite frequently in the past to make cues for a lot of expensive cue that got branded, I.E.. the older predators, ..
 
I wouldnt have to think twice about putting one in my case. Great playing cues and reasonably priced.
 
Falcon makes a fine cue. So do those cuemakers who support AZBilliards like Predator, OB Cues, Tiger, Viking. et al. Please consider those companies who make this site possible in these very trying economic times. Without them there is no AZB.
 
Op. on Falcon Cues

The Canadian Falcon cues were top quality and many pros either endorsed them and/or played them. NOW they are ALL made in CHINA (along with all of Predator's cue lines & shafts & many other brand you would recognize). They are simply just another production cue brand coming out of China. The sad thing is that the price of most of the cues which were U.S. made and now coming from China, HAVE NOT DROPPED IN PRICE ! (even though they are MUCH cheaper to make).

AFAIK new manufactured Falcons play very good. As an owner of a good old Canadian cue from "Vancouver" line I am very fond of Falcon brand. Of course I would prefer them staying in Canada but even those made in China are from Canadian rock maple, so woudln't be bad either.
 
I bought my Falcon JB over 15 years ago and still as straight as an arrow and an excellent break cue.
