Your opponent gets a spot shot, which ball do you spot?

Well thanks to a pocket nail at my local room my 7ball in my set of centennials has a huge chunk out of it... So for PJ I am spotting the 7 with the chunk positioned appropriately :thumbup2: I'd reposition it for the OP's aiming but that may make his idea of halfball have a chance LOL

As pointed out by Bob Byrne, this puts your cue stick over some part of the corner pocket which I think is the easiest way to judge the position. The cue ball is certainly nowhere near frozen to the long rail except for very, very liberal interpretations of "frozen."

Or, unless you're viewing the table looking down from an altitude of 3,000 ft. or so.
