Some guy came into the Flamingo trying to sell a cue, a cheepo import and this kid says, I need a cue, and we were playing on the front table, so he rolled it on the carpet. LOL:eek: :D :D :D

I was waiting for the guy to say something like "you might could straighten dat out I reckon" and I was a little disappointed that he never said how well he could "drawl" the cue ball with it.

Dave

I guess I didn't have my speaker on when I first watched. The sound makes it even better.

What's funny is the same guy that can figure out how to use a digital camcorder, capture the video, compress it, and upload it to You Tube, a surprisingly complicated process, would roll a cue he is trying to sell on the garage floor.

Chris

Waddya mean "Garage Floor"?? You've obviously never spent much time in back-woods Alabama, Chris!

Heck, that's a pretty fancy living room! :D

And there's probably 4-5 perfectly good warshin machines and fridges just outside the door!! :p

When you live in Meucci land, you never know what the cue has been through.

Seller adds "cue has slight roll, scratches and motor oil stains. Garage is dead straight, however".

Chris

Ps. Be sure to watch the whole video. When he shows the vice I get real nervous.

I work in concrete and who's to say the the floor is flat? I've seen some poor work. Also, he rolled the cue in the middle of the room where the drains usually are? Flat or not I think he is a redneck rolling his cue on a concrete floor. lol

I use to work the booth at the league touraments in Vegas and quite a few times I had people roll cues on the carpet. I would just ask them, Well how is the floor doing, did they get it level?

That's funny. Dead level carpet...yeah lol

last year after some A-Z members donated some brand new cues to the Sunshine center here, the old guys would come in to play and see a beautiful brand new shiny cue in the wall rack, pick one out and go roll it on one of the tables:confused:

I would look at them and say, believe me that cue is dead straight, it's brand new.

The wacked out things people do to pool cues.

One of the local guys decided he wanted a lighter cue, so he drilled holes in the shaft:eek:   about an inch or two above the joint. It was his own cue, a Lucasi, the kind with decals instead of real inlays, but still holes in the shaft, what are these people thinking.

:D
