Your USA Mosconi Cup team

Well, one thing's for sure, if Mark Wilson manages to put together a winning team for Team USA on foreign turf, he will be the Pool Prophet that all of us will be following.

Hell, after this year, if they get 5 points it will be a victory of sorts :p

This seems an unusual point of view from someone displaying such an obvious military avatar. What is the average age of combat soldiers that you send out into the world. I'll wager it is way below what any Mosconi newcomers are. Of course young players will handle the pressure. Or is Blackpool a more frightening prospect than Helmond Province

What unusual is why someone who's not from the U.S. always worries so much
who will be on our team.

Funny I never see a post with your thoughts on who will make the Euro team.
Now that's unusual!

Do you have some objection to me having an opinion on what happens to pool in the USA.
There are many people on this Forum who could tell you why I am so keenly interested in discussing the American perspective of The Mosconi Cup.

I was involved with this tournament from Day One when I ran qualifying tournaments for a place in the European Team. I also ran a Pro 9 Ball Tour which underpinned the creation of Team Europe. Back then we had to almost Rent A Crowd to fill the arena and that is why it is gratifying to hear about the rapid sellout of tickets 10 months ahead of the event.

Mark Wilson is a friend of mine and he values my opinion. So I probably care a lot more than you do about what happens to the game in the USA and will continue to contribute my opinions on how I feel it can be improved (even for you)
My credentials to do this stand up on their own.

Likewise, Euro Coach Johan is also a friend of min but he has done such a great job of ensuring that Europe Ain't Broken and doesn't need mending.

Notwithstanding that I have a son and grandson who live in California and grandchildren and even great grandchildren who I regularly visit in Georgia.

So please be a little more open minded. Then you might like the next thing that I have planned which should heighten public perception of the game. Watch this space!

,

So you "probably care more than me", excuse me, you "probably care a lot more than me" there I got it right now. Thanks ever so much for all your help.
Is the condescending attitude a requirement (because it adds such a nice touch) when one gets such credentials, just wondering ?
