Your Views On My Collection Please

I am fairly new to AZ Billiards and wanted to share my collection with everyone and invite your views on my choices and advice on future additions.

I am from England so the internet and email along with the forums are my only source of information.

I have been collecting for just over a year and so far my collection consists of 3 cues by Paul Drexler of PFD Studios, 1 Perry Weston, 1 Judd and 1 AE cue.

PFD:
1-Ebony with ivory bordered purpleheart points (3 hi 3 lo in front and sleeve) with ivory rings and a burgundy lizard wrap. Ivory joint and butt cap, radial pin. 2 shafts with ivory ferrules and Moori tips.

2-Spalted buckeye burl with hollow ivory points (3 hi 3 lo in front and sleeve). White lizard wrap, ivorine joint and butt cap. 2 shafts with ivory ferrules and Moori's. Radial pin.

3-Buckeye burl with 5 ebony points (4 veneers) with ivory diamond inlayed. Ebony sleeve with 5 veneered buckeye burl window boxes with ivory diamond inlayed. Ivory and silver rings, white lizard wrap, white phenolic joint and butt cap. Maxx Radial pin. 2 shafts with ivory ferrules and Moori's.

Perry Weston:

Ebony cue with intricate silver veneered ebony points with turquoise inlays at tip and base of points. Black lizard wrap, radial pin. 2 shafts with ivory ferrules.

Judd Fuller:

Based on Midnight Fire design-Ebony cue with 8 orange osage bordered tulipwood points (4 hi 4 lo). Large ivory diamond in tall points, silver in short. Silver arrowpoint above short points. Same points in sleeve but rising from butt cap. Black leather wrap, tulipwood and osage rings. 2 shafts with ivory ferrules. Luxury custom joint protectors.

Welcome and nice collection! I really like the tulipwood/ebony one.

You must be one of the few people in the UK who don't only collect John Parrises. =)

My personal favourite! WOW. Great collection. Note to self, begin "envy" stage.

Thats right, most just collect traditional snooker cues. I do have a couple myself. Not John Parris though, they are a bit like production cues now as John himself never goes near a cue unless it is for a proffessional so all you get is a cue by one of his apprentices.

Give me an american cue any day!

Very Nice! I've always admired Paul Drexler's creativity and use of unusual woods, not to mention the incredible hit of his cues. He has it all!

Uk nice cue .What do I think???? LOL I think your a spoiled brat. It must be nice to own that many nice cues.:) :)

Nice collection and welcome to the forum. I love the white lizard wrap, does it clean easily?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks. The white lizard does show the dirt more but cleans relatively easily. The problem is the texture of the lizard, dirt gets trapped in the grooves but is maintained ok. Well worth the look it gives.

I really appreciate all the positive feedback.

Who would be your suggested additions?

I want a chudy for definite!
