For me, I Want to see.... this New generation of players in the mix of match productions.
I tire of old men talking about the game (I'm 76).
Would truly enjoy a fresh New 2025 perspective from an 18 yr old on match play.... They could start off on the mic with a seasoned/announcer.... that would be Fun !!!!!
I love to hear my kids talk about life.
Have a great Thanksgiving.

I'm pretty sure Savannah Easton and Sofia Mast and some others have been in the booth on WPBA streams. I think that Ultimate pool has had juniors in the booth during some of their streams also.

Not me.

With age comes wisdom... OK, sometimes age comes alone, lol.

My point being that baby players, even pros, lack the experience and insight most viewers are looking for and appreciate from the commentary booth. Do some guys go on too long about "back in the day?" Sure. But if delivered properly and appropriately those war stories are great and part of our collective history as pool players.

Some of the best commentary I've ever heard came from Freddy the Beard from the Kalamazoo US One Pocket Open.

Funny, funny stories from a million years ago but delivered at just the right time and with just the right delivery. But, the truth is not many guys can pull it off and subsume their egos long enough.

I recall Josh Roberts doing a pretty good job on a one pocket stream. He might not have the stories, but he gave good shot analysis.
