Ok I guess you're right. This whole TV thing is a horrible idea. Who in their right mind would even want to watch. Things sure were a lot better when nobody knew that games exist without pockets. Now I'm going to have to find another game to play. I hate waiting lists. And think of the humor that'll be lost. The other day I watched a guy rack a tray of balls on the 3C table while his partner walked around the whole table looking for the coin slot. ESPN has ruined my life with this disclosure.mbvl said:Perhaps not the ONLY jackass -- Mr. Jewett seems to have had some heartburn about calling this three-cushion. Maybe you would like to call Mr. Jewett some names.
Since satire seems to be lost on you, let me ask some direct questions.
Why is it so important to the promoters to use the term "three-cushion"?
Would it be appropriate to change the name of that other trick shot show to "Straight Pool Magic" or "One Pocket Magic"?
If the sequel to this program includes Frederic Caudron, should it be entitled "Balkline Grandmaster"?
(Never mind the last one -- satire again.)
With respect to belligerence, you are the one doing the name-calling (look up "ad hominem") and telling people to leave the forum.

Any suggestions on a new game for me? I quit.
