Yu Ram Cha just got skunked by John Salazar, 11-0.

She is now playing Jeff De Luna and he is giving her 3 on the wire in race to 14. Currently 6 - 0 Jeff.

I am not sure when you sent your messge. I am in Thailand and see the matches live at night and then they have a rerun in the morning my time which would be your evening.

If she was playing the guy in white, it was John Salazar. He took her pretty strong.

I just turned on again. Cha is playing Jundel Mason race to 15 getting 3 on the wire. Can't tell her score as the scoreboard is out on her side, but he is on the hill. She has won the last two racks.

This spot is just plain wrong, Cha has come a long way, but she cant win. Hope the bet is not too big.

A more correct spot would be her getting maybe 6&8 or 7&9 , playing 10ball.
 
I watched a number of their matches last week and I'm curious as to who all those guys over there beating these girls? I mean, are they pros? or just the "average" local talent? cuz, wow, Cha and Kim are losing a lot. I'm not terribly familiar with Yu Ram's game, but I've watched GYK enough to know she's no slouch on the table, and every time I find her on a stream, she's down 10-6 or something in a race to 13 ot 15 or 11 or whatever.

Are these money matches, a tournament or ... ?

I've seen three of Cha's matches , playing Jeff DeLuna, Jundel Mason amd John Salazar. Jeff has been a playing pro for several years and played on the Guiness 9 ball tour. Jundel just won the Guiness 10 ball tournament a couple weeks ago in Jakarta defeating a top international field. John Salazar I never heard of before but he can play.

It's doesn't appear to be a tournament. I think they are there just matching up. No idea how much money is involved.

I figured it just had to a pro circuit I wasn't familiar with, cuz damn, those guys can shoot. Thanks for the info!
 
I wish there was sound. I really wanna know what the mini-argument was at the 1:01:30 mark between Yu Ram and who is I'm assuming her coach in this video: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/8978425

They were pulling back and forth on that shaft like he was taking it away from her and she didn't want him to. Um... what? They probably weren't speaking english, so audio wouldn't really matter to me anyway. lol
