I just recieved my new copy in the mail and it looks great. The Mad Max is at it again with a new edition of his book. This one is thicker and I'm looking foward to reading it. The first one is great. If you havent read it I encourage everyone to buy it. Its a great book. Great stories and instruction.

I hope I get my videos soon too, but this book will take me a while to read and study. Max is a great instructor, he lived with me for about 6 months-it was a great time, he helped my game alot. I just wanted to pubically thank you buddy for all the help, and your awalys welcome here anytime.

PS: Max gives Starbucks the 5 ball when it comes to making coffee, some guys are good at everything they do. Max is one of them. His art might give his pool game the call 7. We should all be so talented as Max.:smile:
 
I bought the videos and got the book with the videos. They both have some great info. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to improve their fundamentals.

I read the first edition of "Zen Pool" and enjoyed it. At your suggestion, I'll pick up the new edition soon.

I'm sure we all have little things that we say to ourself in our heads when we are playing a tough match, or about to shoot a tough shot. I myself say the words "Zen pool" at these times.

ps- it seems that he's changed up his website. His old site had some cool t-shirts. I was going to get myself a long sleeve black "Zen Pool" shirt. Do you know if he still has any of those?

I missed something. What's the title of the new book? I enjoyed Zen pool.

It's still titled "Zen Pool: Awaken the Master Within"... It's the second edition of the same book.

I received my book last week, the instructional DVD's came a day later. I practiced with Max at Hollywood Billiards sometimes and always walked away with more pool knowledge and skills.

I got the DVD's before Thanksgiving. Great stuff.

Got the book Thurs. Skimmed thru it. Looks pretty good. Not wordy as some are just to fill pages. I think it is because Max said most of what he had to say in the DVD's
