Zircote McDermott

For sale is a 19 oz NEW McDermott cue. The butt and forearm are made of Zircote. It has fancy (Zebrawood/Ebony/German brass/Ebony/Zebrawood) rings above the buttcap, below and above the black and walnut linen wrap. At the joint the rings are German brass. The closest cue I've seen to this one in McDermott's lineup is HRW2, but it is Bubinga instead of Zircote....might have been a VERY limited run. GREAT looking grain in the cue! Shaft is 13mm with the standard Ivorine III ferrule with Triangle tip. It is NEW and unhit, and priced too MOVE!!! $150 shipped....

Any questions, ask away..

It looks a lot like the HrUSA made by McDermott...is it, or is it a 'genuine' McDermott? :)

J

if you look at the 1st pic (full) you can see the M in the clover logo. I don't think the HrUSA cues had the Mcdermott logo on the butt (not sure, since I've never seen one in person....but this certainly doesn't have Hr or HrUSA or whatever those had stamped on them).

Thanks for the question, and notice that this McDermott cue can be had for less than the HrUSA by McDermott can......

HrUSA

The HrUSA has the official 'M' on one side and 'HrUSA' on the other side. If this cue doesn't have 'HrUSA' it has either been removed or it is a McD you don't see every day, possibly a kind of prototype for the Hr-series :)

if you use the pull down bar to HR Bacote, Bubinga, Cocobolo, etc.... I think even though they are called the HR series, they may (guessing here) have been made for this vendor only (without the HRUSA stamp). Again, just guessing, but mine does not have HR or HRUSA ANYWHERE on it.

BTW, I bought it off FleaBay and the guy who sold it sells a ton of prototypes and artists proof McDermotts. Here's a link to what he has now....
